I don’t even watch streamers. I want an RP server because it fosters RP guilds and players interested in it. I never see the same level of RP on a non-RP server.

RP servers have been in since Vanilla. RP-PvP been in since patch 1.8. There is no reason they shouldn’t have been included.

Look Fellas. OCE did very well with Vanilla through WoTLK inclusive. Multiple active realms, both PvP and PvE. Even without people such as yourselves doomcalling and going straight to NA Realm, I suspect we’ll be just fine population wise.
Having said that, if worst case does play out and we end up getting merged, it will be to the US Servers - and then we’re in the same boat as people like you, with the one difference being we have to change char / guild names possibly (I don’t care all that much personally).
The logical choice for most OCE players is to play on the OCE Realm. Best experience for gameplay with almost non-existent risk (As described above).
TLDR Version:
Good Option, Lesser option. Possible risk associated with choosing Good Option = possibly ending up with Lesser Option anyway = going straight to Lesser Option is illogical.
