So earlier today on Skyfury, somebody got 450 herbalism within 40 minutes of the boats to northrend being available. Is this even remotely possible without the use of flyhacking?
Happened in Faerlina too, 40-45 mins in.

Happened on benediction as well. Less then 50 minutes for realm first herbing
there was a skinning and herb bug back on live wotlk where you could skin/herb the same few nodes over n over. yes if blizzard let the same bug go live again then its ezy done.

Wonder if the people who exploited are gonna face some kind of repercussions or if blizzards gonna let them get away with it and basically tell people its okay to exploit.
WOTLK era blizz would have permabanned them, probably would have GMs flying through the zones too on launch day.
New blizz? Probably didnt even notice this

Not fly hacking but definately a bug that was looked over.

Have a warlock friend summon you to Northrend
When you teleport in you’re still on your flying mount but now in Northrend. No need for Winter flying. And as a Druid there’s no need for you to swap forms to loot herbs, so they just fly all over.
Same thing applies for ppl under 73 getting into Dalaran.
Tldr: any druid with herb+mining server first is 100% cheating through an exploit/bug and is a rat who should be penalized/banned.

Problem is mainly they’re dealing with:

sweaty nerds who will use any advantage to their benefit to get their achieves

nobody does whole zone testing, even In open beta. There is a lot of issues that are right in the intro quests of Howling Fjord that we can’t complete as the mob is stuck in the floor (gosh darn it Bjorn. you had 1 job)
i’d assume it’s like parsing. the 99 can be impressive, but the very top spot is almost always some form of cheese with many players involved
but do they even test their own game? how do you let something like this slip by

It’s what happens when your multi billion dollar company decides to not hire a whole division of testers and instead use Beta as a PR or stream advertising than acrual testing ground.
As general exec mentality rn is "meh let the players test it, it’s free "

Im not the type of person to try for realm firsts or anything like that but its pretty sad for those people who legitimately made an attempt at it to be robbed of it by people doing shady stuff like that. Should be permabanned
I hope they yoink those achievements away. Ban the accounts of exploit users. Id certainly put them on ignore and make it a point to not play with them.
