I’m still waiting for an update on the oceanic transfers they said would be open for 2 weeks its been 3 weeks and they still haven’t said whats happening with them now.

Blizzard stated that they would provide an update if necessary, and since there hasn’t been one, it can be assumed that an update isn’t needed.
Honestly, what more is there to update at this stage?
Presumably everybody who has committed to the transfer is already on CS, and everybody committed to staying is on SS. It seems like the only people who would care about the longevity of the transfers are people who are actively transferring back and forth (probably to stock up on cheap consumables from CS) and don’t want to get caught on the wrong server when the gate closes.

It’s clear that this isn’t your strong suit, Elron, or you wouldn’t be bumping threads with nonsensical pro-GDKP posts and pleading for updates when Blizzard has stated they will update if necessary. The absence of an update simply means one isn’t needed—basic common sense.

Free transfer gate appears to now be closed, I have a character on Lone Wolf I would like to transfer and it is no longer available. Was an announcement ever made regarding the window ending?
i transferred a character earlier this morning. go to the shop in the lower left hand of the screen and buy the free character transfer. otherwise that little icon of a troll going through a portal disappeared but was able to get my char transferred via shop button.

Thanks for this - I tried to do this yesterday and it wasn’t there, only the paid service was showing. Opened a ticket and they didn’t answer but directed me to an article that indicated there were no free transfers available from my server. Maybe they reopened it due to my ticket, or maybe I was bugged and they fixed it?
i went from lone wolf to crusader strike if that’s of any help. horde*
yes oddly fresh lvl 1 characters, even alliance, from Lone Wolf can go to crusader strike no problem (in fact that’s their only option).
Which is completely at odds with their faction limiting requirements, and makes no sense.
I am still unable to transfer any alliance characters from Chaos Bolt to Crusader Strike.
Thanks dude - this worked. I have the gear icon next to the character I was trying to transfer now after the error I kept getting when using the troll portal icon.
Logging into Lava Lash to an absolutely dead server gave me the chills lol
