4:30-5:30 isn’t prime time for BsB lol. Also, horde is lower pop than alli. We’re not dying and we’re gaining players now.
Oh, and like 15-20 minutes later it’s 39 horde side, and that’s 90s. A LOT of people play alts that aren’t 90.
I have toons still on Maladath because I missed the notification of that server being shut down. I don’t see Maladath listed here, so I guess those toons will be stuck there forever?
Yeah. From what I can make of it the move is all about making mega servers more mega and everyone else being either a lab rat in some expiriment or ditched.
It’s not forced, if you want to stay on a server you can
You have to move directly to pagle if your server isn’t listed
I honestly see this potentially bringing some new people that decide to stay. Having the option to move on to the mega if they don’t like it here means they have nothing to lose.
Now if they made BSB/Grob both incoming and outgoing options (that are not going to get “we changed our minds” later) I’d renew my 6mo or even 12mo this week.
Our battle may have been won, but the fight continues on another front. Grob calls for aid!
“You don’t have to eat it, you can just starve” said the man on the deserted island with only poop to eat
i am also not very optimistic for Hydraxian Waterlords at the moment ![]()
Regarding Grobb:
Fwoibles has been Chrystal Clear, that the ONLY reason, why Grobb remains unlocked is, that it´s the only almost 50:50 balanced PVP Realm at all.
That´s the ONLY reason.
The past has shown over and over again: There won´t be equal transfers off the realm from both factions. They can´t control who does leave (most PVP realms were horde favored anyway in the past)
There is NO reality where they leave the realm open with FCM off and to.
If the realm is loosing it´s faction balance, the dev will close the realm and just offer transfers off.
That´´s something the FREE Grobb “movement” must understand.
There is a >90% probability that your´re asking for closing the realm
Oh I get it. If people were allowed to choose the realm probably is cooked. Which is saying something probably. So instead we are forced to sit here and satisfy some pipe dream so a few people can say “see we are dominate!” fantasy.
Well there are paid transfers, too.
I´ve spend money now to make sure, that one of my forgotten characters can move to Hydraxian, just in case
If it was so important to you to play somewhere else, you always had the chance.
Don´t pretent you were imprisoned somewhere, that´s nonsense
This guy does this for free. Imagine
yes, because it was mono faction realm (if it´s a good idea i don´t know. I know that there are player in EU who intentionally play on the smaller faction on PVP realms)
The devs are careful with the last 50:50 realm for a good reason
It happened a lot of times that egocentric, narrowminde people ruined the fun for everyone else with this kind of actions
I just say Lava Lash EU which was killed due to people complaining how “dead” the realm was and how they wanted to move to a bigger realm and Fwoibles HAD to give them transfers.
They were a bunch of PVE player, only playing on Lava Lash to escape the queue on wild Growth during release.
Fwoibles after that did ALSO kill the US Lava Lash.
Something similar happene on HWL where few people complained and maanged that the transfers to the realm were closed, and the transfer of opene which essentially is the reason why the realm is in the state to be probably killed now.
If the devs are more careful now, great.
In the end of the day i don´t know if the majority ALWAYS wanted to leave or not.
It was more a warning to player not involved in the realm to be careful what they support and for those who want to stay, to say that they want to stay. ![]()
I guess we get to see how it works out! Hope you are right. Not like choice is on the table.
i see it from this perspective as someone who had to see communities die due to the devs listening to few people asking them to open transfers.
In case of LL EU, Fwoibles himself said if he does it, it´s going to kill the realm. That the realm (at that point high pop!) was bigger then a full realm during original vanilla.
Those PVE player who never intented to play on LL, didn´t care, they wanted their free move to Wild Growth
It was P2, catch up mechanics were there, but they were too lazy and self absorbed to use them
Their selfishness killed several SoD RP realms in the end because the devs came to wrong conclusions.
Personally i don´t know if the majority of Grob would lave FCM off, or not. Probably most people here don´t, that´s why the Grob player only should speak (all of them in best case
)
but in the end of the day:
If the dev open up FCM it´s probably going to kill Grobb, the damage FCM off a realm cause is usually not repairable.
If it doesn´t work out with transfers to the realm, they ALWAY can open up transfers off. it´s not a “now or never” kind of situation
So if they wait nothing is lost, but if they open up transfers too early and too hasty, for those who love the realm everything might be lost.
The only thing lost is time. Which happens to be the most valuable resource avaliable until, if possible, manipulating it becomes doable.
so the arugal al alliance side is still going to suffer for a while longer i see currently your lucky to get a group for dungeons ever 30minute to 3 hours wait time and then theres raiding thats near on impossible for some people due to other time constraints so it looks like ill have to sever transffer to a us realm to play my alliance characters 200 ms isnt that bad
Exactly. Worse case scenario they can create a virtual server connected to Pagle like the other servers if our population continues to drop. That way those of us on Grobb since day one who reserved names can keep them.
39 lvl 90s across all zones in the game is not a lot…
I got sidetracked when typing my post yesterday and submitted before getting my whole point across, but I actually did the math and at the same time there were 28 on Bloodsail, there were 224 lvl 90s in JUST Shrine. So no, 39 is not a lot.
And I’ve been on Bloodsail for a while. I’ve watched it go from bad to worse there, and these transfers are going to speed up that process.
