Does my guild and guild name get transferred with me I’m GM? I’ve got a ton of stuff in the guild bank. Do I have to make 20 alts to carry it all? I’ve had the guild since Vanilla Classic.

I guess we´ll just have to see what´s going to happen on Wednesday. In fact HWL is a lot smaller than BSB… We´ve had now transfers off for more then a year. Maybe Fwoibles just doesn´t say anything since nothing going to change anyway. That was my assumption at least, before i saw he also added BSB. 
With every realmmurder shenanigans they try it again with the RP realms. They should have learned by now that the roleplayers are usually not amused. AT ALL.

Whether your guild will still exist or whether you’ll have to remake it is unclear. But they made it clear that you’ll have to carry guild bank items over on alts and rebuy the bank and tabs, though at a reduced cost.
Thanks, yes I must admit I’m prescient. Even when I try to imagine the most outlandish scenario to mock blizzard my spirit guide, Cassandra, affects me unconsciously to make me speak the truth. Why would anyone pay to transfer to Benediction when majority of Benediction will be transferring to either Pagle or Grobb for free?

Create a new Feat of Strength for the realm first kills starting from Cataclysm Classic to T14 that is assigned to players accounts specifically. This workaround would help the players at least keep that identity, as you stated before you don’t want to disrupt that as best you can.

oh great… faerlina is already flooded with spanish speaking ppl now with all these servers coming together you will need to post what language ppl need to be to join raid and see constant spamm in lfg channel is other languages… blizz needs to add a filter so you can control if you even want to see massages in other languages… that would help both sides

I am loving this merger.
Nazgrim, Galakras, Ra-den & Lei Shen are “virtual” realms running on Pagle, just like connected realms players on these realms will see a “-Nazgrim” appended to their name, all character and guild names will be available on each one of these virtual realms, but all players will be able to join guilds, raids, dungeons with anyone in the connected realm group.
All I need to know right now for my sanity, that this has worn down this past week, is that does this statement mean that people on the virtual pagle realms will be considered “connected realms” with pagle and the other virtual realms? As in if I’ve remade our guild on pagle, then found out blizzard changed mankrik that I’m on to a virtual realm galakras, will my guildies moving to galakras be able to join the guild I made for them on pagle? Will all these virtual realms be connected to eachother and pagle sharing auction house and guild banks? or Will galakras just be the new mankrik and only mankrik will be together on one realm? but if that’s so there’s no need for a hyphenated name so I’m hoping all of these pve realms will share auction house and gbanks regardless of hyphen or no. Please for the love of all that is right confirm or explain this and add it to your original post because it is too vague on the details. Thanks!
and just to add… this is the 3rd time blizzard has shuffled my guild off of their server. From myzrael, to old blanchy, to mankrik… to galakras. How can you view this as sound server management for a game? for the last few xpacs every xpac has caused our guild to purchase new guild banks and tabs at our own cost due to some lofty ideal that it will make a better community that apparently doesn’t work out so we use the same fix and do it again and again and again. I miss what wow once was. Ya’ll just don’t get it. There’s no sense of community that I’ve been able to return to and find on retail. Everythings so all over the place. Those same decisions are having the same effect here. a lack of community and a feeling of being in a crowd but all alone.

While I’m not really ok with the fact that we can’t transfer guilds, even though it was a thing that came out in Oct 2011 during the original Cata expansion, it’s not like I have any say in the process.
“Your use of the Platform is licensed, not sold, to you, and you hereby acknowledge that no title or ownership with respect to the Platform or the Games is being transferred or assigned and this Agreement should not be construed as a sale of any rights.”
Again, I’m not a fan of the current situation, and while yes it’s time played and achievements earned, I pay to play the game for enjoyment and I enjoy playing the game with the people / friends that I have within the game world. At the end of the day, however, it is just a game and doesn’t put money in my pocket, pay my bills, or anything of the sort. It’s basically an escape into a fantasy world, where I can do things that I enjoy. When I stop enjoying the game, then I stop paying the fees to play it.
I’ve been through quite a few server moves / migrations since I started playing. Some I’ve paid for, some due to servers closing down. While I sympathize with those that are finding this way too troublesome, the only real option you have to avoid it at all, is not to play.
As consumers of a product, we either consume the product as given, or choose another product. It’s their business model, as consumers if we dislike the model they’ve chose, then we have the option to move.
Myself, I can adapt, I’ve been through it enough times that I’ve learned to roll with it. Making a stand against Blizzard is a futile venture for the most part. The only reason that they even brought out classic wow at all is because there were too many other options available and they decided they could bring back older players to play the past expansions if they did it themselves and make more money. Business is business. They’re not in the business to spend money and not have any ROA on the decisions they make.

Im all for rolling with it and I do. The only reason I’m posting today is because they gave direction and told us where we were going ahead of time to smooth the transition which I very much appreciated. The fly in the ointment is that later they changed those directions and destination servers after they’d advised people how to prepare. And the exact way the connected realms are explained is still vague enough that I’m not able to definitively advise my guildies how this will go or what to do. The rant was overdue I can understand taking it or leaving it but I pay like anyone and I get a rant when things are going wonky. No worries on overlooking my rant I get it. Positivity is good. Just need to know how the new virtual realm idea effects my guild because it effects me getting them ready to move.

That will make me infinitely less stressed if they can confirm that. Gives me some hope hearing someone else mention it. And that’s how I’m reading that as well. Since that’s how my retail guid’s server group works. But my guildies are still confused and unsure and I don’t want to tell them something then be wrong or like this instance the realm destinations changed. Hopefully a lil more info and the rest of the plans don’t change so we can get on over to the other side of this. Thanks for the reply!

I totally agree… I moved one of my toons onto Pagle, adjusting the name, just to get a guild established for folks to land, and then the next day, they changed Mankrik moves to Galakras (which won’t be available until patch day). At least I only moved one, at my expense, to ensure the guild name stayed intact.
so what you are saying is Blizzard is to cheap and lazy to do the merger right
