Right all the afk people being 20% of the pop, then the ghost town everywhere you go in the world, get real. You will not see players while leveling, major capitols being ghost towns, won’t see another player outside of auction house or rp event location.
Your information comes from warcraftlogs, which only counts raiding and arenas. There are MANY people who don’t do either, including my own father. You have no understanding of our community.

Right, it would be better to merge all the East Coast PvP servers together and enforce faction balancing (no transfers off allowed). Do the same for the West Coast servers! Then apply the same approach to the PvE servers ultimately resulting in 4 mega servers. Problem solved!
Blizzard needs to take accountability for failing to intervene and prevent monofaction servers, while also holding players who chose to roll on a PvP server accountable for that decision. It’s a win! The only people who will be upset are those who don’t want to deal with world PvP even though they knowingly chose a PvP server.

Going on a limb to say there are several different ways to create the “mass” server and have it be seamless to the players and guilds. The approach they’ve chosen feels cheaper and quicker to get to some result they are after.

Bloodsail is not locked, nor has been locked. We have the most unique community in classic progression, and its thriving. Sure, we’d love it if we had more like minded people around, but thats not something a lot of people want to get into. Give us our own shard, connect the shard to Pagle, link the AH, and let us move our character names, guilds and their affiliated achievements over. Ideally the banks too.

Well, we finally got confirmation that Classic is just a side project and doesn’t receive full financial support.

Connecting large realms together would probably take a very long downtime. Everytime they’ve done a database copy or merge job (Clones from Vanilla to TBC, Achievements from TBC to Wrath) the downtime estimates have exploded from 2 to 20 hours.
If Blizzard could speak the truth instead hiding behind their own incompetence the reasonable players would probably cut them some slack. If they said we’re going to connect all the existing realms without anyone losing anything…but its going to be a 48 hour downtime… a lot of people would complain but most might be okay with it considering the alternatives.

5 year old and more community? What community, there are only 17 players who have logged a heroic blade lord…107 on normal. It is literally dead.
Raiding is not the only content in WoW. Given your lack of knowledge regarding the community of BsB and lack of stake in the outcome, I respectfully invite you to leave the conversation.

Right sorry, those 158 horde players leveling characters who will literally never see a single player while leveling. Very great community. You’re too attached to a mere realm name, grow up.
Again, many people don’t raid or log their raids. You are either completely out of touch or are purposefully trolling.
