Hello everyone!
Recently, I’ve decided that my old home realm is just no longer the right fit for the kind of player I have evolved into over the years. I’ve been checking into other realms, realm-shopping if you will, for a new realm to make home to my characters. That brings me to my question:
Is there a limit to how many of your characters can be on a singular realm?
I know this used to be the case, and some quick Google searches did bring me to fairly older posts on here which stated that after the raising of the character cap in anticipation for Dragonflight, the character limit per realm remained at 50 rather than 60. I’m quite the altaholic, and while I’ve not hit cap on my account yet I am considering the future in my decision. The realm I have so far enjoyed the most of the few I have tested does not have any other realms connected to it, but if I ever do hit cap I want all of my characters to be in the same place. This was previously of no concern for me because my realm is connected to two others.
This is a huge factor in my decision for what realm I do settle on, and I don’t want to get myself attached to a new realm, possibly even paying for a character transfer rather than starting my main over from scratch, only to discover that I have issues with it after-the-fact.
