With 2 phases in a row of the 10 man raids giving BM gear and them adding Pet focus to AQ40 tier near the end of that PTR, I was hopeful that Naxx tier or Kara would have some BM gear stuff. But with PTR ending soon that seems unlikely. Fortunately pets still have their uses but some lower cooldowns/extended duration on Bestial wrath would of been nice. Hopefully Scarlett Instance has some.
I’d play my hunter alt for sure if there was a fun end game BM hunter setup and pet doesn’t die in raid unless a wipe or directly attacked by boss/trash which shouldn’t happen unless tanks all dead (and takes like 90% reduction of any group aoe dmg or w/e TBC gave). I at least got to enjoy demo felguard lock dps for a bit in the meantime and just pretended I was a caster hunter.
I’ve had little trouble keeping my pet alive in raids. Tho I get what you’re saying. Sucks BM doesn’t have enough to warrant its own tier set. Wish they had kept Kill command in and given it some more runes
