Really liking Leap of Faith lately!

As I’ve gotten better at this game, I’ve really come to appreciate and enjoy Leap of Faith.

As a healer, I enjoy helping people. I’ve never actually had much of an issue with movement, Feather has worked well for me. As I’ve learned to do the raids better I find that I’m usually in the right spot and nothing feels better than seeing someone get popped over the edge, only to grip them back to safety; or going back and helping with lower difficulty raids, seeing someone with a mechanic, running away because they’re scared and in a manner that tells me they don’t know what to do with it, and pulling them back to where they should be. I understand that sometimes it might not feel good, especially if I wasn’t confident about pulling them and they had their own plan, but I feel that it gives me a unique way to help the raid outside of just touching the health bars and lately I believe I’ve been making some good plays with it (getting complimentary whispers).

I recommend to everyone that they create a mouseover macro and bind it to a convenient key.

I’m really having fun with it, I wasn’t before, and I wanted to share something positive about it.

Leap of Faith is great. I’ve had a close save during a reset on the ramp before Sikran, and plenty more on trash before Ovi’nax as well as Ansurek.

But the usual target is a priest. There’s something like situational irony in that.

There’s nothing wrong with Leap of Faith.

The problem is that Rescue is strictly - significantly - better and is on a way more mobile class while priest has the worst mobility in the game and every ability that improves mobility affects Leap of Faith instead.
