Really great deal on MMO mouse

Hey all I just wanted to share that I’ve been using the EVGA X15 MMO gaming mouse, came out this year I believe. The market hasn’t seen a newer MMO mouse in awhile. This thing is super cheap on sale ($40) on amazon and the official EVGA website.

The software is simple to use included RBG lighting, looks pretty slick.
Not all of the keys are clumped together ( this is what I hated about the other mice.)
Very solid. Wired.

I put up my Logitech G604 for this mouse. I have been using logitech forever, I believe G602 was the one before this. I have to replace it every year and I’m just not doing that anymore. This was a great change.

This really feels great in WoW, MMO mice are fantastic! I hope this helps someone! Ultimately I’m just happy with this and wanted to share.

Looks like the scroll wheel can tilt left and right. Is that correct? I’m still rocking a Logitech G600 that I can’t find a decent replacement for now that a couple buttons are on the fritz after all these years.

Yep. The button layout on this mouse is pretty unique. I’m enjoying it so far.

It looks great to have buttons bigger on sides, but I don’t know what’s going on with reviews on amazon. Some are saying it’s super narrow which my poor RA hands can’t handle.

I’m looking for a new mouse that’s wider and more curve to rest hand, but maybe use two - three extra buttons without fatiguing either thumb or ending up with swollen red knuckles from gripping.

So is this wider? I’m looking at specs and reviews… just not sure what I’m reading.

I still have the Cataclysm mouse somewhere, which the game claimed to have native support for, but which never worked.

And that mouse was built for a way, WAY bigger hand than mine.

Probably should Ebay the thing, since it’s as close to “new in box” as you can get.

Definitely not narrow. It’s more on the wider side.

How hard are you sweating and raging that you need to replace your mouse every year? O_0

I’m also a logitech g6 user, and find it a little big for my delicate ladyhands, but solidly built. I find it a little difficult to use the very back / bottom down of buttons because i need to slide my hand back and then reposition it.

I’d say it has to be at least 7.

I haz question.

I am short, female irl. My hands are rather small. A gaming mouse actually hurts when I try to use it for too long (at least when I have tried in the past).

Is this mouse the “typical” size, or is it smaller or…?

I stopped using a standard mouse because of the arthritis .

THis is my set up

Most of my controls are on the game pad on left and mouse is set for moving plus mounting up and the special action button that some times pops up

It’s a little on the large side compared to what I have used in the past. so far the only issue I’m having is the “9” and “10” buttons feel a little out of the way to use - my thumb isn’t long enough. So I binded my poison to them. Everything else feels better than the G604 It feels roughly the same size.

You lost me.

I’ll stick with my Logitec Pro Wireless, thanks.

Look, there’s no need to brag. Not everyone can remember to keep their mouse charged so it doesn’t die in the middle of a hectic boss fight, ok?

Yeah, that’s what it looked like. I think some of those reviewers were talking about something else. I really, really need a good mouse. This one looks like it’ll fit just right… said Goldilocks! Lol

The nice thing is mine can also be wired so it can recharge and only takes a second to plug it in because the receiver stays plugged into the charge wire until you need to charge again.

Just found the wireless version though:

kinda upset my razer naga mouse the middle mouse button doesn’t click anymore…it scrolls fine, just cant use some of my main abilities and i can barely play sadly… wish there was a way to fix this

maybe ill just have to buy a new mouse but im so used to this one

Umm, what??! I’m so not up to date on this stuff. Need to research that. Never heard of it. Part of the reason I don’t play more is my hands, hitting wrong key accidentally more than I normally would. Anxiety keeps me away from dungeons, but maybe if I had a good set up. I do have a split keyboard…

My slow internet connection requires wired everything. It’s too slow wireless - and a pain.

Definitely looks pretty slick. I might get one to give it a go.

Another MMO mouse to look at as much as I hate their products is the Corsair Scimitar. The number pad can actually slide so you can adjust it based on the side of your hand.

Peripheral companies are weird, people have all kinds of experiences and stories while some never have issues with a company. Like I haven’t had a single issue with a Razer product ever, but some people swear it breaks on them in two months. Though I’ve had issues with Corsair in the past with people saying they’re usually reliable. So mileage may vary.

Just as wireless works for some and they swear by it, others have had negative experiences with wireless and hate it.
