Why are we getting recolored shadowlands mounts as the glad mount rewards for TWW?
Nobody is excited about these and people were hoping S2 and beyond it wouldn’t be a bat anymore.

Completely confusing especially with DF having some really good ones like the S1/S4 mounts. Why? Also what does the bat have to do with the theme of the expansion?
It used to be the gladiator mounts were recolours of the same thing all expansion, hell it was dragons for years.
No one should be surprised it’s another fel bat. DF was an exception because they made them reskins of the dragon riding mounts.
i think people saw some datamining early on and thought it would be different for the future seasons but it was probably just hopium
either way the bat doesnt really make any sense to the theme of the expac
It really is disappointing how much of a downgrade it is from the DF mounts. It’s just dull and underwhelming. Even the Nerubian honor mount is better as it at least fits the theme. Getting Gladiator is no easy feat for most players. The mount should be something to get excited about, as it has always been for the most part. Come on Blizz, at least brighten the dull bat up or something with some better glow effects…
