Really? Classic TW again?

Why do we keep getting classic Timewalking when the celebration is about all of WoW and not just Vanilla?

Because Classic Timewalking was introduced specifically for the anniversary. The other Timewalking weeks are part of the weekly events calendar.

Do you get hero gear?

Which version of WoW launched 20 years ago? Ok.

it should never be the same one two weeks in a row

  1. It’s part of the anniversary package
  2. Cata Classic is coming up next week

Definitely boring at this point

People like stuff like scholo and such.

Well pure retail. Classic players have these on muscle memory mode at this point. BRD…can be run blindfolded.

I dread scholo hits in leveling. get the wrong crew there…and dropping starts to look real good as an idea.

SOmeone said cata classic next week. that will spice it up for some. make it a minigame. how many melee dps will actually try to “break yourselves upon my body”.

that boss has a tell you don’t even need DBM for. and yet people still stand in it. My Advanced sympathies to the healers that week.

Cause it is the 20th anniversary and regular TW only happens once a month. Guess what you get for the 3 weeks in between?

Personally I think they should just go ham with it and make it a “GRAND” timewalking event, where its:

  • Vanilla
  • Burning Crusade
  • Wrath of the Lich King
  • Mists of Pandaria and
  • Warlords of Draenor

— ALL mixed together in the one anniversary timewalking event.

Spin that huge rabbit-hole roulette machine and find out what mystery dungeon you’re going to fall into :joy:

You could just like wait like next week and then each week will have a new turbulent timeway event:

Given that they only do like 4-5 dungeons from each xpac for TW, it would still get tiring quickly.

Just from the expansions I listed, even if it were 5 each that’s still 25 dungeons … That’d only get “Tiring Quick” if you were no-lifeing it really, REALLY hard. lol

I’ll be glad to see the end of classic timewalking and Azzin the Wildshaper’s way overtuned Thorns…

It would be a lil more intersting if they had more of the low level dungeons in timewalking like Shadowfang Keep, Ragefire, Wailing Caverns, Gnomergon etc.

Though i dont know if these were actual dungeons during Classic. I didnt start playing until later part of Cata.

Yeah. They were all dungeons in classic.

Timewalking is poorer for the lack of Scarlet Monastery at the very least.

I mean it gets tiring quick because we’ve seen them all before. 25 would be far better than what we have now, I agree with your overall premise. Good idea!

If the twenty-year anniversary event wasn’t going on right now, there wouldn’t be any time-walking available at all this week…or last week. Would you prefer classic TW dungeons, or none at all?

Now that, I agree with.

False dichotomy. It’s a special event and they can do it however they want. Having it rotate at least between the first 2 or 3 sets of content would be much more enjoyable.

Being classic only I just don’t do any timewalking those weeks. Is that what they are after?

How so? Normally, we see varied expansion-based TW dungeons once every two to three weeks. During an event celebrating the release of Classic WoW, we are seeing Classic TW dungeons available as a time-limited feature…as intended, by design, for those that want the Classic experience. No one is required to participate, and the normal TW schedule is unaffected.
