Isn’t this just a massive, excuse the phrase cause I know it’s a thing on the forums, slap in the face to the pet collectors that already have him and paid an arm and a leg to get him, considering he’s from a rare TCG set?
Why didn’t you bring back one of the old Recruit-a-Friend pets, instead of a pet that’s still obtainable in game?
Imagine the outrage if they offered Invincible for this. Or some other rare mount people spent literally years farming.
Supporting Doctors without Borders is great, but you could have done that without offering a pet that costs an arm and a leg without compensating those who already have it.

I wouldn’t mind this nearly as much if Bananas was the stretch goal, and the Sloth was the pet for reaching the initial goal.
But no. They reversed it. Everyone is practically guaranteed to get Bananas, but there’s a good chance we won’t get the Sloth.

I seem to have picked Bananas up in the AH somewhere over the years. I’m glad to see him returning for everyone (give or take whether any of us have any real money left to contribute).
