I can’t think of one good thing about twinks.

Look at the BG forums. We already got enough whining and complaining about PvP, and half of it is because of twinks ruining low level BG’s.

Obiously twinking is the most important aspect of wow pvp at the moment since it gets more threads than any other topic. Perhaps it’s the only thing left to do in the game.

Really didn’t need another twink thread just to antagonize people. And this is coming from someone with multiple twink characters.

I actually run a counter twink squad. Very elite group of people that know how to completely dismantle and destroy any and all twinks.

Don’t get to play this toon these days but wanna rep the epics. :slight_smile:

(I’ve gotten several quest epic procs but it’s been like all shoulders).

Don’t look at my filthy pants or trinkets. I stopped working on those slots when the separation happened. Rip.

That would require games to be happening. They only do for free to play / vet accounts. No exploit for f2p either just how it works.

The blindsided change made 65%+ of twinks just quit until classic probably.

I’m interested in levelers taking the time to gear up maybe! Classic is gonna tilt a lot of folks who expect candy hand outs like it’s Halloween.

During the first ~4 years of this game’s life, I would agree. It was almost exclusively people who just weren’t good at any aspect of PVP and stayed in leveling brackets with mostly BiS AH gear topped with non-scaling endgame enchantments gibbing new players (back when there were LOTS of new players) and thinking to themselves “God, I’m good at this game…” Heck, even one of the most famous twinks in history fit this bill to a T.

After Wrath, more people just started getting burnt-out by the hamster wheel of starting all over again each expansion. Granted, one could say “that’s the point of an MMO, so maybe MMOs are not for you” but no matter how you look at it, WoW is a product. Just because the maker(s) feel they’ve “improved” their product, many will feel that it was made worse.

Anyway, those burnt-out people adopted a means to preserve most of the playstyle of previous expansions while avoiding that hamster wheel. Doing so also created a closer-knit community.

Unfortunately, there are those original folks/types who still linger and their actions and comments paint targets on the community and cause those frustrated individuals who were in their wake to paint them all with the same brush.
