I have mained a hunter since 2004… i was a hunter way back in beta… The last few x-pacs have not been kind to hunter.
I work too much so raiding is no longer an option for my so my end game is M+ is hunter a class that can do higher keys or is it a class that is refused from pugs because its just bad??? I ran into that issue a bit when i played dragonflight which caused me to quest last x-pac
I’m currently survival until the mini-rework for BM/Dark Ranger in anniversary patch and not having issues getting invited to M+ keys so far. I’m not sure how high you’re wanting to push
Not seeing your question. If you lack time, you can live in delves. Solo content that actually is great for hunters who like to use all abilities.
Ok, I see it now. M+ is always a struggle to get in. But MM has a lot of AOE abilities that make them good for keys. Hard part is getting in unless you run your own or have a group you run with
Uh what? SL DF and outside of BM aoe TWW isn’t bad for Hunter.
Most of DF all 3 specs were at the bottom 1/3 of the list for raids and M+
No they weren’t.
Hunters were very strong season 1 and season 3/4.
i have always like the concept of BM as it is THE pet class (go away warlocks). I am leveling my hunter now as i just enjoy it more than my paladin. I have never been one for alts.
they were adaquite in season 2, i left before seson 4. The stink of season 2 made pugs not trust them in s3…
i just want to be able to do mythics up to the point i can get top level gear out of the vault… not looking for so +20s or anything
You have delvs and follower dungeons, so you can avoid all that toxicity and play at your speed.
BM single target is great, but BM lacks AoE potential. There’s a rework coming in November, but if you not into the wait game you can try any of the other specs.

I mean, you could go back to wowhead and search through their weekly standings and find that 90% of the time we were in the bottom half if not bottom quarter of every weeks results. Sure, we got a small buff that felt good for a bit. But right back to the bottom we went

The best Hunters before DF were getting out because it’s too easy. SL was the last expansion there was something of a challenge, and the best post-Leg expansion for SV(right at the end, ooh yeah).
What was really unkind was Leg and BFA, because of how we got screwed so hard on borrowed power.
As for BM, it got trashed before launch, though MSV still beats it as the greatest controversy of all time. Still historic as BM was never allowed to fail so badly as right now.
I dont even bother. I dont M+, raid much anymore and just play what I feel like playing. Not what some min/max person in a mythic guild does. I only know those exist from seeing youtubers use them. And the occasional post here about how bad class X is doing.
That’s because wowhead doesn’t show 95th percentile which shows the true accurate performance.
It only shows the all percentiles which includes players that don’t even manage barbed shot stacks.
So you’re commenting on content you don’t do on the classe soerformance which you don’t have any context of how it’s actually doing.
YouTubers are usually clueless and making bait videos.
