They have no way to autodeposit reagents from one character’s reagent bank to the account-wide bank.
It requires people to continue using many bank alts for inventory management. It doesn’t solve the problem it was intended to solve.

I guess it’ll take them another 8 years to catch up to SWTOR and implement bottomless account wide reagent tab.

You literally have the ability to access your warband bank anywhere in the world on any toon.

Actually, they just released the new account wide reagent tab a couple years ago, iirc. Legacy storage came out in 2016.
So if it takes WoW 8 years to finally give us legacy storage and account wide reagent tab is only 2 years old in SWTOR… that means we have to wait another 6 years for WoW to catch up to that. 
Once every two hours. Again, this requires people to maintain crafting mule alts that exist purely to maintain inventory of on-demand items.
Warband banks are essentially shared Void Storage.
These people have never played a game that has account wide storage and reagent storage separately. They don’t understand what we’re missing.

Seriously, they clearly don’t know what they’re talking about if they think this current solution even remotely addresses the issues with inventory management and crafting.
I set up a tab for equipment and one for trade goods and reagents. The button deposited those items from my bags to the warbank and in the appropriate tabs. Though, it will take me several hours to combine everything from all my characters and sort things into a logical manner but I’ll get it done before the expansion.
Is it the best solution? Maybe not. Is it better than what came before? Yes.

you can literally use your warbank as a reagent bank, it works exactly the same AND is account wide. but judging by your general attitude to the answers you seek, you will choose to ignore that and complain

I’ll have to take screenshots and educate them. I hit the “deposit all warbound items” button on all of my characters so far. One row is gear piece. The rest of the tab and a half is all mats. lol
I feel bad for everyone here who has never experienced the greatness of an account wide, bottomless reagent tab!

So answer me this? Why would anyone ever press the “Deposit all reagents” button now? Doing so puts them into the reagent bank and then off-limits to your other characters.
Doesn’t it make more sense that reagents and crafting mats be presumed to be account wide? Otherwise, you’re just going to continue having eleven million alts for each different kind of crafting mat. You’ll keep having people making private guilds for guild bank space.
It’s not addressing the basic problem with the game’s inventory management.

I’m sorry that the devs are requiring you to put forth the absolute most token effort.
I’m sorry you’ve never played SWTOR and experienced the joy of being able to use your Legacy bank for all sorts of items and not clutter it up with reagents, while having a tab in the inventory that’s bottomless and account wide for reagents! It’s glorious.
