As stated above, the reagent bank system is weak.
Maybe you have some justification for it not being capable of being expanded, but I don’t personally see it.

Now, and this is where your own logic is flawed. Blizzard at some point realized that people should be able to craft with items that they owned, but didn’t necessarily have in their inventory for whatever reason.
That was as awesome change. However, you’re like 20 years in now, and you’re actively encouraging Timewalking Dungeons. Am I actually supposed to care about these drops that sell for basically 2-5gp? Or should I be caring about my characters, transmogs, toys, etc. stuff that you do seem to care about, as you did create the Trial of Style, and a variety of achievements encouraging players to go back and revisit “old” content.
I typically operate with about 20 open inventory slots. All bags are maxed, you’ve just created so many useless items, and forced us to deal with it, while not giving us the option to actually utilize a convenient system that you created to it’s full potential.
Reagent Bank should absolutely be expandable

I hope that one of these days we just get an account-wide Reagent bank. Along with other stuff that should probably be account-wide, like reputations and renown.

Ooh I love your idea of an account-wide reagent bank, ideally with all the crafting goods and reagents in there, with unlimited stack potential.
I would say even unlimited slots and add a slider

We don’t really need bigger banks, we just need Blizzard to stop being so silly about how they implement items, crafting materials and non currency tab “currencies”. Seriously, i’d be able to reclaim over 50% of my bag and bank space if Blizzard made some common sense moves like eliminating bloat and letting us delete/vendor certain things.
Absolutely! It’s insane the amount of crap that they expect us to deal with, and I’m not even hoarding! My Bags/Bank/Reagent Bank are absolutely “jacked” just between SL/DF stuff…
Tuskaar Caches, Dirt Nodes, Expedition Bags, etc. just loading you up on stuff you don’t want at the time.
If I want a bag slot to be taken up by a Skalebelly Mackerel, I’ll go Fishing…!
We should buy Reagent bank tabs like guild bank tabs. Then another row of bag slots for the normal personal bank. And yes lets bring in the 50+ slot bags we should be at 50 slots by now.

It’s like they’re creating a problem just so that they can drip feed us partial solutions occasionally in the form of quality of life changes, ideally, they could just stop creating that problem for us lol

We have too many storage systems. It doesn’t need to be so complicated. Take all the spaces in our bank, including bank bags, reagent bank, and void storage and replace them with one personal vault to use as we like with no arbitrary rules on what goes where making things needlessly complicated.

This is why I remain in my solo guild. My gbank is my account wide bank and I can never go back to being without it. Does it suck I can’t join actual guilds? Sure. But is it worth joining one to sacrifice my own account wide storage? No. No it isn’t.
My guild does this, the guild bank tabs are tied to people, all but the first tab is restricted to specific individuals or couples that are isolated by named ranks, like certain husband-wife teams have all of their characters inside a single rank so that they can all access their tab and nobody else can (aside from me, because I’m the GM). I never look at or touch anyone else’s stuff 
The only issue is that it only really works out for a small handful of people in super small guilds like mine, an account wide reagent tab would be ideal.

I wish we had something like ESO’s bottomless reagent bag (if you pay their sub fee).
The reagent bags on some of my toons are overflowing and the reagent bank can fill up quickly as well.
ESO has it for its subscribed players; account wide bottomless materials storage. Its a beautiful thing.
That could be a thing but im also happy just having a bank alt for each expansion so I know where specific mats are from an expansion on what toon.
