'Ready to work. What is it?'

I keep hearing this after I kill Festergut and am leaving the room. I don’t remember hearing it before this week.

Am I crazy? Is there an orc peon hidden around there I kept missing before?

You are likely using a quest tracker mod, like Kaliel’s tracker, Dugi Questing Essentials, etc… that plays a sound when a quest/quest objective completes, most have a configureable sound that can play and the orc peon ‘ready to work’/‘work complete’ is usually the default, and it’s counting beating a boss as progress on the raid section.

Or it could also be something like the last comments here:

The only addon I am using is 'Garrison and Order Hall Report.

I forgot about this! I disable sounds in game, I hate them and if any sound plays it’s something I specifically enabled. I remember one of my addons going “morrre work” “morrrre work” when you completed a step of a quest (2/10, 3/10, etc), and “Work Complete” when the quest was finished, so annoying lol.
