Reaching Nathanos on top of Orgrimmar gates?

Completely curious here, because all my Horde alts have flying.

But if they didn’t have flying, how would they reach him? I can’t find any stairs leading up, even from following the paths along the cliffs to the sides.

You likely wouldn’t be able too without flying.

Blizzard assumes you’d have flying by that point, as 250 gold is pocket change at that level.

Funny enough, I think there was meant to be stairs considering the weird hole in the wall.

I seem to remember there being stairs to the top of the gates at one point… but I don’t know if that was just a dream or reality. :upside_down_face:

Okay, take the elevator up to where the zeppelin towers are, then take the bridge across to the eastern cliffs, then follow the cliffs to the eastern edge of the gate.

A LONG path to get there, but doable.

Yea, that’s a fairly big oversight on Blizzard’s part. What they should do is add a scaffold/staircase up the wall to that opening in the wall at the east end that has a staircase going up to the top but serves no actual purpose right now because there’s no reason to use the stairs to go down (unless u want to jump the rest of the way down when reach the opening) and the only way to use them to go up is to fly to the opening and then walk up… when you could just fly to the top in the first place.

Basically… the wall needs stairs, cause that convoluted path through the cliffs is not obvious, especially not to a new player.

Next time I’m in Org, I’ll have to try out hole in the wall.

Currently how it works is…

  • A starter account doesn’t have enough gold to buy riding on reaching level 20.
  • Some characters don’t have gold to buy flying at 60.
  • A character on a new account or a server without a sugar daddy character doesn’t have enough gold to buy faster flying until Legion.

That’s how fast leveling is. People don’t hang out at level 60 grinding gold. Low levels have no way of earning gold now. 40 silver per quest is going to take a long time to build up.

Just put one of those ropes or ladders in the game that just pop you up to the top when you click on them.
