Reached 120 and can't pvp

So I finally leveled a fresh 120. And I realized I can’t even pvp as the dps typically have 5 or 6 times more HP and tanks can be >10 times more HP than me.

I don’t feel strong at maxed level 120. I feel weak and stupid. Thank you Blizzard.

Edit: OK. I get the point of the gear. But what do I gain from 110 to 120? I don’t get a talent or new skills. It feels like 110 to 120 is nothing. And when you finally reached the ‘maxed level 120’ everyone around you are essentially level 150.

Just do what most people do bring 20 friends with you

You’ve always needed to get gear before being relevant in PvP.

This has been the trash pvp experience we ve had for many expansion, blame the crybabies of legion.

Legion tried to fix it by introducing templates, pvers who were bad cried because they couldnt roflstomp players with their high pve gear and it was reverted.

PvP should be scaled differently

This fellow is my argument

And in b4 some bad pver goes “No templates were removed because they didnt allow stat customization”

It is pretty clear that Blizzard has the scaling technology to scale everything to a specific ilvl and keep your stats similar to what your original ilvl had.

They decided to completely remove templates because they knew there is a huge number of low skilled players who like to get into bgs and roflstomp others with half their health so they can live in the delusion that they are skilled and good players while gear is carrying them.

Not to ignore that issue at hand(lack of honor gear vendor mostly) but asking to not feel weak on a FRESH 120 in PVP inside a MMORPG is kinda weak …

Gearing up for PvP was half the fun.

PvP should be about skill, not gear, you wont change my mind.

I dont mind some form of slow progression but when you have people having 6 times the health, doing triple the damage, gear is everything, skill is irrelevant.

Flashbacks to older expansions like BC or wrath where you spend hours afking bgs and getting one shotted by people so you can get gear and actually might have a chance of surviving
Woah sounds so much fun.

The gear ilevel scaling on legion and bfa is a joke. Levels means nothing now, all what it means is your ilevel.

It’s the health pool, not so much the lack of gear

A new player may as well not bother, it’s not even grinding pvp for your chest or gear drops, it’s punching boulders

Bad for accessibility, and therefore queues, and therefore the health of pvp

Not to mention orbital cannon TD deleting people when it’s feeling cute

I lile pvp on legion. I tthinkif bfa were tje same, but allowing the use of trinkets and scale down esseces would be the best

Sorry Ralph, so you had a bad time, I did not. I did not spend hours afking bg’s

I enjoyed it, that’s why I made that comment, go troll someone else please, I’m so not in the mood.

Just farm m+ for a week.

It was more fun than what we have.

Disable corruptions, scale down essences, and disable pve trinkets and it’s fine.

Hell just make everyone naked.

So as soon as you hit 120 you expect to be competitive in PvP against people who have been playing this tier for almost half a year?

Sorry mate you’ll need to spend at least a few weeks gearing up, getting good Azerites, decent Essences, and Corruptions. Like the rest of us did, except you have some catchup mechanisms available to you to speed it up a bit.

don’t attempt pvp till you are ilvl 465. Save yourself the headache my friend

Yeah pretty much. Don’t have to be competitive but at least viable would be nice. That’s supposed to be the meaning of ‘maxed level’ in my opinion. People who played longer are still more experienced and skilled than me. But now the maxed level concept feels like a scam.
