When will blizzard address the issue of the 0.0000001% drop chance on unique transmog items and mounts? Examples of this is the classic mount drops. It’s absolutely toxic to have to go into a place countless times for a mount and never see it, ESPECIALLY with old content. Given that there will now finally be a 500 mount achievement next xpac (which I will have but isn’t the point), there is like 90% of your player base will never see it because of pink love rocket rules. You really, really need to address this stupidity.
Another example of this is burning throne and Taeshalach / scythe transmog. I raided that hellscape of a raid in mythic when it was current and never, ever seen that sword. I watched the rest of the raid group get both of those and still to this day I’m chasing them. Don’t get me started on how many people are still after the Garrosh shoulders. This is wrong. Why is it when we choose to want something that we are forced to meet unreasonable terms.

Why the hell is there still daily cooldowns in professions from 4 / 5 expansions ago when the content is now irrelevant. This makes no sense nor does it serve a purpose except for maybe somebody in your department has a design flaw.

Probably never because it would cause a huge uproar for the people who put in the effort to farm them.
I agree with this.
i agree with Drocos
on the mount say you ran 200 icc to get the mount and got it then the next day they say every mount is 100% drop rate i would be mad same with mogs
if every one had the mogs 100% then the rarity of it would go out the door.
as for the 24hr i agree

I think various toys’ CDs need a serious re-evaluation.
Why do I need to wait 30 minutes to re-apply my ogre illusion?

Who said anything about 100%? I’m more talking 10 - 15%. That way people still gotta work for them in some form but at least you know you will get it. Just makes the odds better. The current drop rate, you are not even close to getting it, ever. It took me 11 years to get 1 transmog. It took me 8 years for 1 mount. There are some mounts I’ve been chasing for 16 years and never seen them. It needs to be addressed across the board
Doesn’t need to be that high but maybe some kind of bad luck protection, maybe go up .5% chance every kill or something (per account, so just .5% max each week). Some raid mounts I’ve gotten in less than 10 attempts, others (Invincible) I’ve tried over 400 times and still no mount.

There are several mounts I’ve gotten on my first time in dungeons and raids, some that are so stupidly hard to obtain that when you see someone get it, it legitimately makes you angry because of how much time you have put into getting it.
I mean, they actually re worked 1 mount drop finally after 14 years which is the love rocket, why the HELL can’t they do this will ALL mounts?
Currently there is like let’s say, 5% of the game population that will get the 500 mount achievement when it goes live at the end of the year with dragon flight.
It seems that only people who have played actively for over 10 years can get close to this, or people who have done nothing but farm since they started.
It’s a very, very unfair and time wasting affair for the game community as a whole
This honestly needs to happen.
I’ve had my share of good luck and got some rare mounts in not many attempts. Others I have killed so many times it’s stupid.
The chance should go up per kill
For some people mount/pet/transmog collection is what we play the game for.
I’m not a raider, I don’t do mythics. I play through the story and then I farm transmogs/mounts/pets.
The current drop rates for some mounts is so unforgiving and unrewarding it is punishingly demotivating.
For the segment of the player base that plays for collections, having to farm a boss 400 times and still not see the mount drop is a terrible experience.
Having everything be a 1% chance to drop would still make it incredibly rare. But is more doable for collectors.
OR having a “bad luck” protector where the % goes up each week per kill is also going to help.
It’s not going to make a difference for those who don’t farm, but for those that do, at the very least for each unsuccessful attempt it is still a “progression” instead of just odds. It just makes the experience for that playbase more enjoyable
Drop chance of 0.0001% on kill 1 is still, drop chance of 0.0001% on kill 1000. If the chance at least went up, it would at least be progression and much more motivating and rewarding.

Gotta sell them store mounts, eh?

Yeh well even then they have issues giving the mounts when you buy them. There are people who have not received mounts that have been paid for and there is like a 30 - 60 day wait time for a GM response on this issue.
I know 2 people who have paid for and not received the tuskarr kite, 1 person who has completed an achievement and does not have the mount associated with it, this one was confirmed by a few people over live stream on discord.
It seems that there is just money grabbing going on without actual decent customer service lately

I disagree with this framing of the problem. The real issue is that there are still 1:2000-1:3000 mounts. I think the rarest mounts should have their drop rate increased to 1:500. Still really rare, but not stupidly so.
And then they could look at old patterns, like the 1:25,000 drop rate ones that drop off cata world bosses.
