I mean it’s still two shots a week at the normal mode gear and the 25m hardmode gear will still only drop in 25m. And some of the 10 and 25 hardmode gear will still be good through normal ToC.
So yeah still plenty of reason to run both, actually more so than in T7 precisely because of the hardmode loot.
