I’m on Jom, it’s nice.
Tbh though, at least for now be prepared to get ganked a lot and often after lvl 30 because all the horse also re rolled or transferred here. Be prepared to fight over quest mobs and skins etc.
This som taught me I should have rolled on a PST server and just found a chill guild to raid with and treat the game like a true mmorpg….
Classic wasn’t meant to be treated like retail yet we continue to need and want 10 players around us in each zone but we just don’t want them taking what we need at that exact moment.
TLDR believe it or not I plan to transfer off jom tbh lol, as odd as that sounds.

Jom open world is 200 rats in a shoebox. Mutanus is the comfy rural server. Left my main on Jom and enjoying the peaceful life lol

12 months - 1.5 months… = 10.5 months… by the time u hit 60 there will 9 months left and every1 will be in full epics.
Rerolling anywhere at this point doesn’t seem worth it. We need blizz to do something.

That seems pretty subjective. I suppose the question is really whether you’ll enjoy playing or not.
If they don’t ever open up server transfers for SoM, then I suspect that Jom will end the season as the largest server. If they do open up transfers, I still think that’s the likely outcome, but with much less certainy.
Anyway, good luck with your decisions!

I think there is still 3-4 weeks left of rerolling or starting SoM for the first time.
By the time February hits, it’s done. There will be almost zero new players and zero rerolls. It simply won’t be worth it outside of a few rare instances/people.

Not really. ZG has “catchup gear” and will likely be implemented in May. It takes about 1 month for semihardcore leveling 1-60. Maybe 2 months for casuals? Idk, never taken that long myself lol.
