I’ve been playing wow since vanilla and have been a customer of yours supporting 2 to 5 accounts for a large portion of those years. Up until this announced policy update you have had numerous blue posts stating multi-boxing was legal. I have invested my time and thousands of dollars in your company based on your outward statement multi-boxing was legal.
In regards to your recent policy update relating to monitoring my keyboard input, which I also find likely illegal and chalked full of privacy issues I am going to be canceling all active subs and will not renew.

Multiboxing is legal. It even says so in a support post (which I note has recently been edited to take into account their current stance on software assists).
If you cannot play the game without automated software as per their ruling, then that is sadly the only thing to do. And as for monitoring you, please note that when you started playing you clicked “Agree” to their Terms, which include:
Consent to Monitor. WHILE RUNNING, THE PLATFORM (INCLUDING A GAME) MAY MONITOR YOUR COMPUTER OR MOBILE DEVICE’S MEMORY FOR UNAUTHORIZED THIRD PARTY PROGRAMS RUNNING EITHER CONCURRENTLY WITH A GAME OR OUT OF PROCESS.
You agreed to that (or you couldn’t be playing the game). It is the same as clicking on a website and agreeing to them putting cookies on your computer. If you don’t want that, you don’t click OK.

It’s almost like the rules are subject to change and get updated in accordance with ongoing issues every couple of years or something.

I’m a multiboxer. This policy change has zero impact on me. I’m not going anywhere.

People were abusing the third party software though, and little guys like you got hurt by it.
Blizz made a bad move, they should have limited the number of clients you can run simultaneously. Then little guys like you could have kept doing what you do.

God this community is so toxic lol.
Multibox is still legal, you just cant use automated means to control them. You are welcome to click on each toon to your hearts content like every other player. You just cant clone your commands so make it easier for you.
