Bash clone has existed for so long though. I think this problem is more of a “give other classes more utility” problem rather than an rdruid problem.
Perhaps though, instead of removing bash clone, a better fix just affecting rdruid would be to make them less tanky. By doing that they could be punished more easily when going in for cc.

That’s a different problem. Let’s try to focus on what the thread is talking about. Feel free to bring it up in another one though. I dislike fire mages as much as the next guy. Again though, I think that’s more of a “other classes need more utility” problem

i unironically think we’re the highest wmpala NA because no one actually plays it LOL. Can anyone confirm? I swear absolutely no one plays it right now.
Poor guy. Ya Gekz said it takes a really good mage to play with a Disc. Disc life is a hard life.

rake stun isn’t fine
used to have bear form requirement & rage cost (and Enrage for rage was on a slightly longer cooldown than it)
perhaps that is a good way to fix it then. im just advocating for unpruning the game, rather than dulling it down more

i dont think bash clone itself is the problem, its the fact that nothing in this game can be punished
i remember when rdruids were squishy as fk and died if they got caught out with no hots or bear
like i cant stand watching a 1600 level rdruid at 2200+ mmr casually walk up to me and bash me because there is absolutely no way to actually punish it
the game will be fixed when numbers are high enough across the board that fire mages stop running gpie just because itd be a waste of time to cast

bring every1 up to UHdk levels of damage then balance from there. prolly the easiest way to get out of the 70% damp meta quickly
yep, and theres enough cc/mana drain in this game to at least warrant an EXPERIMENTAL season with dampening removed entirely and tune healers back up to where they used to be- 2x the amount of damage of one single dps player, though it mightve actually been higher (or i might just be thinking of better topping mechanics that healers used to have)
