Rerolling is a fake way to describe “Guy who has played the same spec badly for 10 years but has all his abilities keybound playing 1000 games this season cuz his spec is good after taking last season off when it was just ok”

When holy priest was on top everybody and their mother spent $60 on a priest character boost resulting in your average joe facing holy priests 4 out of 5 games. People aren’t that eager to roll druid even when they are the top dog.

Problem? No! RDruids are at the lvl they should be, healing right now is as close balanced as it can be after the Holy Priest nerf (if you dont believe me look up the ratio of each healing classes). Because you find it difficult to play against them doesn’t make it OP or stronger then anyother top lvl healing class. I think MW and HPaly should get a buff to catch up a bit. But, other then that its pretty close. Have you played healer this Xpac? Healers have gotten the shyt end burst meta all xapc.

Less. Less people will roll rdruid because hooves/hots/stance bars.
Rdruids have always been better than they should be its just with hpriest being nerfed rn all the priest mains are too lazy to reroll to a diff class again so they just swap to disc which is why the disc remains the highest healer and dont get me wrong disc is also insanely good but rdruid is starting to actually come back considering it dominates 2s ladder almost every ssn and can heal til 85% dampening and being the 3rd best healer in 3s nearly tied with rsham.
Lets not pretend this is super hard especially when rdru is overtuned please
Rdru is one of the two healers that I see everywhere the second it’s overtuned like it is.
Rdruid metas also tend to promote boring damp gameplay which I do not think people like
Some people think it’s hard some people think it’s just inconvenient or don’t like the stance bar furry forms either way it is a deterrent. Same reason you don’t see many ferals even when they are the top dog.
That’s because the spec is difficult and feels bad to be bad at.

Rdruid definitely has one of the highest possible skill caps in the game, especially if they use all of their affinity / CC options well. It’s just one of the classes that still has a lot of buttons to press in a stripped down version of the game.
I think the main argument becomes tuning. Pre-hotting the correct targets does lead to a decent skill floor, however that skill is completely overshadowed if the healing is overtuned and anyone can do it.

Idk I think rdruid is just super boring when it’s OP
Just involves sitting in bear form entire game and doing as little as possible spam PvE healing
MW has the same issue too
But it’s not like they don’t get rerolled when they’re broken.
I think you over rate the complexity as a reason and more just how little it feels like you’re doing. In 3s for the majority of rdruid comps you’re rewarded for doing as little as you possibly can, can’t imagine that being the most sought after playstyle on ladder

Healing is pretty balanced rn tho, but rdru could use a slight nerf.
Never understood that. I was always mesmerized by them all the way back to playing against them in BC days and they could just endlessly kite, root, cc. It looked like so much fun.
Id be happy if they removed drinking from arena. it would make certain decisions about mana management way more important. Or make the ability to drink take 5s out of combat before you can sit and drink.
Thats the only way to make it through a q session these days tho

I’m not seeing rdruids that often, I see way more rsham and disc right now. It could be the season is still in the early stages.
I guess rdruid scaled well with gear, there were no buffs since it was nerfed prior to s3.
We have objective proof that this is just not true. A week ago Rdruid was 4th on ladder AND leaderboard representation. I think theyre 3rd now cuz more hpriests have dropped off but Disc and Rsham is by far worse and MW and creeping up pretty quick since their predator rmp is gone and they heal aff cleaves very well.
