Why is healing touch gone?
Once they fix damage RDRUID and MW will be fine.
Legion healing touch was excessively powerful. Rather than balance the spec, they leaned further into the design of hots amplifying your healing. Now your only non-hot heal is swiftmend

but even worse than the design is just literally the numbers attached to the buttons
the amount of healing hots do is literally off-putting, every time I use a gcd on rejuv I experience mild self hatred

follow-up serious question
How do you respond to mass purging when your team is falling behind? Druid is a class I’ve never touched, but it seems like you guys would have to spend the majority of arenas playing catch-up
I member the rdruid I got 2.2 with in 2s circa legion unironically thought healing touch spec was perfectly ok good times
press lifebloom, the expiration hits for ~3k
edit: that is the play ur meant to do is cover ur hots with lifebloom and as they get purged u either replace lifebloom or rejuv, currently u do the same gameplay but ur actually hoping they take the lifebloom so u can still swiftmend or ur doomed
shroom talent heal and CW can’t be purged either last I tested
correct but the values of efflo is pretty bad and talenting into spring blossoms or whatever is actually troll
First class i leveled was also Rdruid and i was shocked and then not surprised how it ended up in basic testing because all the traits arent out yet and this fast paced burst meta is no way for them to compete in. Ill be keeping mine caught up in the background until its time to shine again. Until then with how the meta is and the fact the most saught after healers are both purge heavy if you play druid your in for a bad bad time. Its bad enough all heals do literally nothing.
MW i didnt even think about touching this xpac simply because hunters and rogues are so strong i dont feel like punting my keyboard into the road over dying in cheap shots or double tap openers because no defensives.
I take it whenever I play with a lock or if I know I’ll get purge spammed. Some mastery is better than no mastery at all

ok? it is a tool to help u recover from a mistake and it is also the most powerful one rdruid has, it saves u a disgusting amount of gcds, there is nothing w the same value

There are situations for both with photo/blossom freeing up gcds if your partner(s) can afford to stand in efflo for sufficient duration.
Unless something has changed mages will still take klepto against druids and save it for overgrowth, only every third cast can be used with innervate, etc.
If games last less than a minute, then overgrowth (against non mage teams) is the play. I’m a big fan of shroom talent in general though, so I’m slightly biased.
