Does anyone else find it exceptionally odd that some players are advocating for the removal of RDF because they think it makes a better social experience (it doesn’t), while at the same time not able to grasp the concept that players won’t transfer off servers because it means they will leave their whole social network they built behind?
Seems insanely hypocritical to me.

these are all separate issues that people are grouping together for some reason.
Their whole social network which also has the same option of transfering at the same time? Yeah that makes no sense.

My real life brothers, who I play several video games with, are on Faerlina with their guild they have been with since the beginning of classic. They love their guild, and their guild has no interest in transferring servers. Most of their players are able to stay logged in every day and they do not seem to be impacted by the queues as much as myself. I just want to be able to do arenas with my brothers, but despite me wanting the transfer, they want to stay, and they want me to stay.
I just want to be able to play arenas with my brothers. If I can’t play with my brothers, then I really do not care to play.
Also, guilds, families, and friends are not a closed group of people. If you need to transfer an entire guild, there are going to be several players in the guild that need to leave their friends in other guilds behind.
Just because a single player wants to transfer, does not mean they are able to talk their most important friends and family into being able to transfer as well.
Then… Don’t… Complain. I promise you its not that hard to coordinate a transfer. If they’re gonna be hardasses, find a new guild.
“better social experience” was always a cop out from day one. They are the most toxic people who make socializing in this game miserable in the first place.
Do you really think they care about the social experience? They are just sweaty tryhards that want to gatekeep and control how others play, it is just about control.
I literally just showed you that it is impossible to coordinate a transfer that works for myself. I have asked the people who are most important to me to transfer, and they wont due to the extreme social impact. Just because you say it isn’t hard to coordinate a transfer does not make it the truth.
Instead of victim blaming all day, why is it wrong to expect more from Blizzard?

Its gonna suck for awhile, but the ques will die down. Then all these guys running their mouths about “just xfer or quit” will be on here begging blizz for another free xfer to get off their dead server. Thats when we shall have our revenge. In the mean time, just ignore them lol.
Just speaking from experience, mail has been an issue. 3 of us are stuck on Bene because we had those stupid notes from the scourge invasion or extra mats or w/e in our mailbox.
Other than that, I would love to transfer off.
