I searched the video, clicked on the description and found the timestamp that Redheadchild choose to withheld. I did his work for him but go on and keep backing him when he was specifically called out for it.

he keeps saying generic stuff, he never gives specifics. he’s now agreeing with Ion on retail. Well two things on Ion’s retail game. Ion has done the worst thing he can do for 3 entire expansions. he tried to be deceptive for three whole expansions about feature sets and how the game would operate going into these games like the Azerite gear people threw the huge tantrum about this in and out of the beta, they deleted the beta forums to be like we got no feedback. the hell you didn’t i had that beta. i seen the forum posts. they were railing on him, and much like legion’s legendary system at the end of the game, i think it was ready to go day one of legion they knew what they were doing in legion. they intended to do that with azerite armor in bfa, they ere gonna wait until nyalotha. people were nuking Ion and his team. further more the second point is. Ion refused to listen to the players. so much so he made 3 entire expansion the last one not so much on borrowed power but borrowed power and chasing AP for 3 expansions. people were sick of it with legion and were aggressively tired of it by the end of BFA and here Ion comes in and saying we heard you wanted thirds. and then they gave us torghast. i didn’t hate it, but i didn’t love it, i thought it was better when you had a full group. I could barely get my guildies to do it once they got their primary legendary at max level for that tier. they recognized it wasn’t a fun experience. Ion does not listen to the players.
the TDLR version Ion is arrogant and it shows with his softball interviews, he gets pitched easy question after easy question. He also has the daddy knows best mentality and ignores the player base. he’s had to make concessions to the players to build good will after 2 increasingly bad expansions. it is probably too little too late.
Kevin Jordan says stuff in a very vague statements about the game. The about the only thing he didn’t say that was vague or obscure as far as i have seen was RDF took dungeoning away from the guilds. If this is truly the case it tells me that some of those players were not at all liked in the guild if they were on to run a dungeon with. further if he did get fired in 2010, i wonder what that reason was. also like Kurathis said, if the dude actually brought up flying and how it kind have has diminished the game’s world play i’d listen to that argument if it was actual real statements. but when you build zones like Storm Peaks or zones like Netherstorm you have to make concessions unless you’re gonna make teleporters that allow you to move around the zone. and even then, these open world zones have gotten bigger and bigger, Ground mounts just didn’t offer the movement speed to navigate some of these zones efficiently. hell they took westfall and dropped it into the lower southern zone of the dragon isles, and that zone is like 3-4x bigger than westfall.
Defcamp ninja gearing statement - if people are worrying about dungeon gear in 2023 they must have very little things to worry about. im seriously if you are worried about what drops out of a 5 man, man your life has been incredibly pampered life at this point. now for raids especially in 25 and the ulduar raids yeah let the server police that S***, if he’s talking about that he’s right on but dungeons get that nonsense out of here. btw, anyone notice how we still don’t have a disenchant button the need and greed loot window tab that pops up? where’s that feature?

well now we at least know who to burn at the stake for the faction imbalance of retail. lets all burn Kevin Jordan. we can also now blame him for the inception of the faction transfer too. this dude has caused more problems for the game than anyone else. uh, pvp could’ve been done with out factions. just saying. except on retail the players of the alliance dwindled down so far to a fraction of the horde. there were a few outlier servers by in large the disparity between the factions has never been at a worse state in retail so much so they had to break down the barriers of raiding/dungeoning in retail. this dude is a total moron. no wonder he was fired from blizzard in 2010.

Expecting others to do the slightest bit of investigation to find the answer isnt making an excuse. The only L is for those who want everything handed to them on a silver platter.
Showing you were to find the answer is enough. I did that. I should not have to hold someones hand after that and point to an exact location or second of a video to do so.
But its amusing that you are so focused on this instead of the fact the game dev himself said rdf had negative impacts on the social aspects of the game.
I am actually scared for future generations if you intend on having kids.
