This community is full of ppl needing their hand held while playing the game. Most of them enjoy diablo immortal. Its really just the audience blizzard loves. Bottom shelf RDF players. Token buyers and whales.

There wasn’t an RDF survey but the devs said they looked over the feedback and decided RDF was still too dangerous for live servers. Thankfully

They didn’t. If they did, Wowhead would’ve made a post about it, just like they have done for every REAL survey. Sorry to say, you fell for a hoax.
Yeah unfortunately it was copium from some people who got a Cata survey. IDK if they thought it would revitalize discussion, or if they thought it would scare anti RDF’er, or if they just were trying to troll, but all they did was make the entire pro rdf hopium train feel terrible lol.
They called Angerforge a “Fresh” server which implies it won’t have transfers in or out for 90 days.
If they meant it to be an overflow server, they didn’t frame it that way.
As for “we won’t lock servers” I’ve never seen them say that. In fact, I’m pretty sure they’ve said the opposite.

so lol im not saying this is morally right or a good justification, but they opened it as a overflow server specifically for fresh start realms so its technically a “fresh start server” because it for people starting fresh from day one of the prepatch and thats not the same thing as “opened up for transfers”
and if you didnt see that coming a mile away i want whatever youre smoking.
There was never an announcement for a second wave of fresh starts idk what gave you ANY idea that these would be anything more than overflow servers for a queu problem that existed a week before and begged for these servers

Oh, you must mean those content grinders that just want to plow through the dungeons, not actually talk to anyone (making your previous statement about “making friends” a complete lie, BTW), and just get to max level so they can go raid and will probably log out and barely log in again because they are “bored” and have “already beaten this stuff”. Those folks… I think the game can live without them.
They would quit anyway. RDF would just help them to get to that point faster. Which is really all they want anyway. So the rest of us don’t need RDF because we intend to stick around and enjoy the game long after your last raid log.

However, if they wanted it just to be an overflow and not an actual “Fresh Start” server, they should have framed it that way so people wouldn’t be going on about it.

You think blizzard cares about what’s good for the game when they’re already talking about rolling out cataclysm? One of the laziest possible things they could do with an expansion noone cares about because they don’t want to put time into the game. Stop simping for them about how they’re trying tohelp the game, literally everything they do is to cut costs and they manage to spin it off to the morons in a way they actually believe them.

How many times have Blizzard stated that they won’t be rehosting old versions of WoW?
When Blizzard says no to something, its not always set in stone, We have been told no so many times about asking for servers for Vanilla and up to that point after the shut down of Nostalrius and months after that, Blizzard reversed their decision on not having servers for versions of WoW and on that day of Blizzcon 2018, WoW classic is announced.
So who knows as to when Blizzard will suddenly reverse on their decision on RDF.
Keep going with the same argument that has been debunked and fact checked.
I will keep saying this, whats preventing you from being social in a manually formed group or RDF is YOU, its not the system’s fault, its a YOU problem.
Toxicity can happen in a manually formed group aswell, lets not pretend this does not exist and is exclusive to only RDF, I have fair share of toxicity in my Classic and TBC Classic dungeon runs.
Ninja looting has existed in WoW since its inception and this means dating all the way back to WoW’s release, again lets not pretend this does not exist in manually formed groups and is exclusive to only RDF.

Blizzard - RDF ruined the social aspect and community of the game.
Me - Looks at FFXIV with RDF, Raid Finder, infinite cross realm and data center travel. Where the social aspects and community are 1000x better than WoW.

You will not because you’re not geared and you will not be invited, you will spend hours trying to get a group and then only then you’ll think “imagine that lemoncringe made a campaing against RDF and I can’t get into a dungeon now”.
