With RDF added for pvp its only a matter of time now! Thanks blizzard
RDF for all!
RDF is so bad. I literally don’t even know what ZONE most dungeons post Wraith are located in. Let alone what their entrance or exterior look like.
Whatever I wasn’t planning on playin Wraith classic anyway.
Thanks for the positive feedback!
Reposting this to explain:
RDF allows players to sit in a city all day and queue, without ever stepping out of the city gates.
BG queueing at a Battlemaster not only allows, but even worse, it forces players to sit in a city all day and queue, without ever stepping out of the city gates.
Blizzard doesnt want peoole sitting in cities all day, without ever stepping out of the city gates. Removing RDF and adding mobile-BG queueing both achieve this goal.
You mean when people want to do dungeons they go and do the dungeons?
No matter how they got there they were doing dungeons…
I just dont understand the issue of someone going i want to do dungeons and then going to do them…
Youre mad because people arent auto flying in the direction of the dungeon entrance??
Like do you not see how dumb that is?
“im only happy if i see 100s of people pointing their flying mounts in the direction of the dungeon and hitting NUM LOCK”.
OMEGALUL is this thing on ? hello ?
It also allows them to Qeue while farming, pvp’ing in the world, questing, etc. Without it they are more focused on creating a group or finding one. Not really sure how you leave out that context when making the comparison, especially as a repost, so you’ve had time to think about it.
For the record, it’s WRATH. WRATH of the Lich King. As in, the Lich King’s unbridled fury as he wages war with the living
a wraith is a type of spirit or wisp depicting a person just moments before their death
you’re misinformed. the RDF feature roots your character and hinders any kind of action you might consider taking. if you do somehow manage to move into the open world, the system will automatically teleport you back to the city.
One sounds like a you problem.
Two, why even comment.
Most people are out and about doing something, like quest/dailies, gathering mats, or wpvp as some would say. Is there people out there that would afk while waiting? of course there is, but how is that any different to those that queue for BG’s? there isn’t any difference at all.
Heck, maybe those queueing in the city are already done doing w/e and are playing an alt on another account or playing another game, who cares if someone is doing that? No one, that’s the truth no one has a problem with this at all when it comes down to it.
See ya, wouldn’t wanna be ya!
You play on on a one-faction server for gdkp raid loggers so this attitude is to be expected from you.
However, leveling two alts since prepatch I used the LFG tool fine to get groups, and I encounter friendly players, quests, and world pvp on the way to the stone.
If you’d rather play world of lobbycraft then retail is there for you. Unfortunately, no one wants to play retail because it sucks, so there’s that.
The difference is blizzard specifically said the changes they were making with the removal of RDF were to prevent players from queing up in main cities. The entire purpose of removing RDF is to get people out of the main cities. They dont care that some people might farm during the queue, the fact is most people just sit in cities when they have RDF (the proof is history of this game).
It would be insanely hypocritical if they still forced players to queue BGs from a main city only. This would invalidate their entire argument against RDF. So, they had to allow us to mobile-queue for BGs to prevent this kind of blatant hypocrisy.
People dont play retail because the game itself sucks it has nothing to do with RDF.
Remind me again how great FF14 is doing and yet that has RDF?
My server is irrelevant.
You literally replied and said nothing of substance.
Lmao I never said FF14 is “good”. I personally am not a weeb that is entertained by $40 flying whale mounts and cat girls but if that suits you, then you should play that.
Im not “mad” about anything, and im actually pro-RDF and want it just as badly as everyone else does.
Im simply explaining Blizzard’s logic behind allowing mobile BG queue, while removing RDF. Both achieve the same main goal, which is to get players to leave the main cities and socialize with people out in the world.
Guess what? No RDF means I’m spamming LFG channel in the city trying to find a group. Having RDF means I can focus on questing or whatever else I want to do while I wait.
Thats a good point and something i wish blizzard would consider. One thing is for sure, though, being forced to BG queue from cities was outrageously counter to their whole “we want people to leave main cities and socialize with players in the world” stance. They had to change this or their entire stance against RDF is a blatant lie.
