Yes, whispering ā€œinvā€ is a major social interaction that RDF will remove and completely ruin the community cringes hard. And RDF will bring toxicity to the community; oh wait thatā€™s BS though because I ran a group that took forever to get together in classic TBC and some guy in it was extremely rude. He left and then it took forever to find someone else. Yes, this is the classic experience in wotlk that Iā€™ve been waiting for. Why add a button that can instantly invite people and get them in the dungeon when you can just waste massive amounts of time sifting through the endless boosting ads in LFG chat? cringes mega hard

Exactly. I want to be able to whisper Inv to every player on the server. I also want them to whisper the same to me when I make a group so I can not respond to 95% of them. Adding RDF completely negates my ability to message inv to players!!!

I want to have randoms whisper me to heal their dungeon while Iā€™m farming.

Itā€™s fun.
If Iā€™m busy doing what I want to do and they get whiny or pushy after I decline, I admit that I never bought Resurrection or any healing spells because Iā€™m Shadow. This is for any healer - Yeah Iā€™m Shadow. Then they get to call me stoopid or noob or w/e makes them feel better about themselves.

Iā€™m a community builder.

Spent about an hour looking for a group for the Dungeon Dailies. Got one, it fell apart.

Spent the rest of the evening playing (by myself) doing the Shattered Sun dailies.

Got bored. Logged. Logged into FF14. Proceeded to run multiple dungeons and a couple of Alliance Raids using their LFD/LFR tool.

Had a blast.

((Canā€™t wait to do this in Wrath Classic omfgwtfamazinggameplay!))

Itā€™s not fun to sit in LFG Channel spamming all god damn day for a single dungeon.

ā€œRun with guildmates then.ā€ ā€“ What about the ā€œbut the communityā€ argument? The claim is LFD killed ā€˜random social encountersā€™, after all. So isnā€™t doing guild-only runs achieving the exact same outcome? ((Spoilers: It is.))

ā€œMake your own group then.ā€ ā€“ Still sitting in LFG Channel spamming all god damn day for a single dungeon. All that changes is ā€œLFGā€ becomes ā€œLFMā€.
