RDF, An Original WotLK Feature

I’m the dude who was tanked and healed kara MS/OS +1 from the point at which people started hitting cap until many weeks after SSC/TK and even BT were made available.

I’m not your enemy on that point, man. GDKP’s and paid runs are bogus and I don’t agree with Blizzard on that point, because it encourages behavior that break the regulations offered by the ToS.

Like I said though, dude? The “history of RDF” literally has no bearing on whether or not it’s healthy for the game, or whether we should seek to have it implemented in Wrath classic – and at the end of the day, it still wasn’t implemented when wrath launched and people literally didn’t use it for a vast majority of the dungeon runs that happened on main characters back then.

At best, RDF offered a catch-up mechanism for alts, and carried on into the next expansion and beyond as a feature that, once again, diminished the importance and relevance of the open world environment by encouraging dungeon spamming as the most efficient means of leveling characters.

That’s why I still believe, and suggest others should believe, that it wasn’t every an entirely wholesome implementation. :person_shrugging:
