RCR Asmond falsely banned

well, the irony is that you need points explained to like one friend. at this point might be better to save the effort. if you can’t surmise than how is it possible you even understand what your saying. if your first points is how he shouldn’t of told his followers to spit on the mount owners, you don’t see that is the same as saying he deserved it?

I’m trying really hard to help you understand basic English here.

Okay… Let’s use an example.

I have the potential to burn myself every time I cook. I have burned myself before but I still have the potential to burn myself in the future. Just because I burned myself once, doesn’t mean I will burn myself every time.

The potential for something means the possibility for something to happen. Just because the system has been shown to be abused unequivocally, doesn’t mean that the word potential no longer applies to it.

The system had the potential for abuse before it was abused and continues to have the potential for abuse after it was abused.

its ok, still waiting for any point why its ok for this to have happened. maybe when the spit dries you can come up with anything of value. the personal attacks are nice tho. little fresh like lemon squeezed over ice water.

Just save yourself the trouble.

You can’t fix what’s wrong with them.

but this thread isn’t about some hypothetical situation. it already happened with proof.

more personal attacks because you have nothing to reply, this is history for you friend.

Oh my god dude.

I give up. I’m out, see you in the next thread you create if you’re not on vacation tomorrow.

Topic should be retitled ASMOND JUSTIFIABLY BANNED FOR DISRUPTING THE GAME and it should be permanent and irrevocable. dont wanna get banned? dont be a lame e-celeb who purposely disrupts the game for normal players. hopefully he will continue to get reported and banned until it sticks and he go get a real job, in mcdonalds, where someone of his caliber belongs.

sounds good ion

the other side of your spectrum still gets fooked with lol.

I feel like you play League the don’t right dismissive nature of your posts. Anything that isn’t positive should be banned?

Seriously what is wrong with the internet these days everyone is terrified of people saying mean words. You’re playing a game about warfare, and killing people. Yet, you cannot tell people to stick it? What is this disconnect people have.

Who cares. Unless it is a widespread thing then it simply doesn’t matter.

The only question is:

Does RCR with auto-squelch save the players and GMs more time/grief than it causes?

Neither you, I, or anyone in this thread knows the answer to that.

Hard to say, I imagine it takes a major load off the ticket backlogs. I dunno if they’ve ever reported on if the system is being abused at an unacceptable level.

I’d have to believe that the automated squelch system is better for their current manpower. They just don’t have the staff they once did and the old system had people slamming tickets down for every little imaginable thing.

The punishment for abuse just needs to be sever enough that people really think twice about it. They’ve adopted the slap on the wrist method though so they punish their players some but not long enough for them to lose interest in the game and quit.

It’s pretty bad when cheating in this mmo is a suspension when in any other competitive game or mmo it would be perma ban worthy.

Wonderfully ironic Freudian slip.

Unless you’re mentally impaired to the level of a child, you’re always in charge of what you choose to do. No one held a gun to his head and made him stream that response.

And, yes, Virignia, all streamers are responsible on some level for what their followers do. Encouraging them to behave badly and then shrugging your shoulders and saying “It ain’t me!” fools no one.

He knew what he was doing. He gambled on him being more important than he actually is and lost.

You guys should tell Asmon to say which Classic server he’s going to roll on publicly. That would most likely dissuade people from doing this type of mass report behavior. Trust me when I say this, there’s a decent measure of fairly agitated players who want to know where he’s rolling just so they can avoid him.

Honestly him tweeting that out that he isn’t going to decide until near release and then this bannerino happening are too close to be coincidence. That and the mount thing but I’m pretty sure it could go either way or more likely both together.

I meant infer not surmise

Well, considering they have to take the time to unsquelch and unsuspend for frivolous RCR’s, how long would you say each takes? 10 minutes? 15? More or less? That’s per player. I imagine that adds up.

And how many people really deserve their actions? It used to be that Blizzard definitely should’ve been given the benefit of the doubt and people who run to the CS forum to whine about being disciplined were almost always in the wrong. But lately? I don’t think that’s the case any longer but that’s just my opinion.
