Best advice if you are gonna forum PvP. Sometimes I need to follow it too.

You forgot to use the word âcausticâ in a sentence.
If youâre in a zone and you see /1 spammed with addon output, and youâre one of the people with that addon installed, you would be well advised to disable it (at least temporarily).
Even if players on closed community servers donât RCR you, quite a few are going to ignore you, because youâll be considered an âidiot childâ by ânot an idiotâ adults, because you choose to keep contributing to /1 spam bombs.
Blizzard also allowed game files directly on the PC and people deleted a few to fall through a floor to kill a boss, and later fixed it. Because they found a problem they hadnât expected through player interaction with the game files.
However, spam is even more of an issue if itâs an AUTOMATED spam.
Ever get those robo calls? Did you consider the first one âspamâ that you didnât want to listen to, or the 100th, even though they came from different numbers, different messages, exc.
Fact of the matter, automated messages going out to people with information they donât want (or isnât even true) IS SPAM.
If you check a mailbox regularly you get spam there as well, business advertising, banks trying to get you to sign up for a credit card, exc. Spam is spam. Either itâs done by a person or an automated system like the one the add-on uses and thus the report and punishment for the RCR was justified.

I gave him a chance to see logic, if he canât understand what spam is, he might want to go back to elementary school.
You donât know what real spam is child. 
Spam an unhealthy substitute for a cheaper costing product.
Food or advertising, itâs the same thing.
I love SPAM. I like it on pizza with Pineapple. Quick and easy go to meal.

Meh. I generally donât do anything unless they get REAL nasty. BRB, gonna dice up some SPAM. All this talk of it, is making me hungry. Gonna try a Korean recipe my neighbor gave me using ramen. Itâs called Budae Jjigae (Army Stew).

I have never reported anyone on the forums. Itâs all just a mini PvP sidegame. If words on a forum from a random internet stranger have an actual effect on you then you have much bigger problems IRL.

Iâve reported a few posts, but they were directly related to sevear hate speech or RL death threats.
And Iâve reported a few people for spam if they intentionally made repeat threads for threads they were actively chatting in. Because they usually made the repeat thread to try and make their opinion seem like the Lordâs will for the people instead of posting in the existing thread where they already lost the discussion through logic and facts., I think Iâve reported at most 10 people on the forums and Iâve been on the wow forums since TBC (didnât even know there were forums in vanilla, lol)

Itâs weird because I have no doubt it happens, especially when I see how emotional people actually get. But in 15 years I donât recall ever seeing an actual real life threat. Iâve seen some hate speech but I always assumed it was someone who wanted a perma ban because they couldnât stop themselves from spending too much time on the forums or something.
