This is because more people play it compared to arena, hence why it’s inflated. Arena has been nothing but a fotm-gimmick fest since the season started so the RBG community starting booming. Check LFG, there’s more and more RBG groups popping up ever day.
Also notice how a majority of Arena LFG is just ads selling rating and a majority of RBG LFG is just regular matches, there’s no need to buy carry because the gear is easy to get but at a certain point you need to play at a pretty high level to cross over to the other side of the MMR just like arena so skill kinda becomes the main factor.
Whatever man. RBGs are way easier than arena. For the third time: there’s a reason most RBG players aren’t good in arena, because rbgs are easy.

Nah bro, that’s because people just find RBG more fun and skill based.
I don’t really care about arena, I do it casually whenever my team isn’t playing.
I tried arena on a few toons and just suck at it. I don’t really enjoy or have the inclination to learn intricacies of each class and when to counter what. If I want to play chess - I just play chess.
Battlegrounds all day for me. I enjoy the dynamics of each map and play a role that can make or break a game. Victory when you are down 0-2 on flags or a few hundred points down on a node map tastes oh so sweet. Many randoms have been won by game changing moves in the last 30 seconds of a game, I don’t find that excitement in scripted PvE.
I only started rated BG’s this season so I could keep progressing on gear to stay ahead of the burst, I found the low level rated BG’s to be full of terrible players much worse than the random BG I am used to. I have a 50%+ win rate on randoms and I think on rated <1500 it was more like 20%, ugh.

Arena only seems harder because classes are horribly balanced and everyone runs the same fotm garbage.
How bout you get a high rating in a real bracket like RBGs and then we can talk.
You watch too much AWC. There’s tons of diversity on the ladder.
