I’ve capped my hunter a few times using RBG’s and this is exactly what happened. 1200 cr RBG group only accepting people who are almost ilvl 220 and wanting to use voice. However in their defense the teams we faced all had similar gear at that rating which is just stupid and makes me wonder wtf is going on in this game. I’m guessing it has to do with being able to cap in any bracket then use your rating from another bracket to upgrade gear. Which is why we have ilvl 220+ teams competing in RBG/2’s brackets that award ilvl 200 gear.

Yeah. It’s probably this. Which is weird. Basically pvp queues are suffering from greed. Before people just wanted to protect their CR, now people feel obligated to protect their gear level. Where as before it was simply earning a currency because the quality of your gear wasn’t tied to something as volatile and arbitrary as rating.
People protecting CR meant low rating conquest cap rbgs were stress free, because nobody gave a crap.
Now low rating conquest cap rbgs are extremely important sources of free upgrades.
i’m trying to join with 20% versa, 19something ilvl. And it’s not flying. Even a “i’ll take anyone streamer” declined me lmfao. (didn’t wanna class-stack rogues.)
Coincidentally. LF Sp’s, Discs, Mages, Balance Druids, heck even warlocks. Horde side. I just wanna cap conquest i’m soooooo far behind. If you cast spells HMU. And if you’re a shaman… idk. We can try it but i’ve never got the hang of rogue ele.

I joined voice once and the target calling was awful so I ignored it. They were also mostly clueless. I don’t see a post for voice until like 1800+ in RBG’s since all you have to do is look at your map and respond accordingly 90% of the time.
Will play with you if you’ve got alliance side toons.

I just tell them I’m a deaf blind mute, that way I can just alt tab and watch Netflix while they win the match for me.

My absolute favorite thing about rbgs is when you get that 2500 rated guys alt, in an 1800 rbg and just rages the entire time.
It really makes you realize just how sweaty some of the more “elite” players can get. This dude was literally screaming because a rogue didn’t pick up the flag when the efc was in the tunnel about 50 yards away from cap.
The poor guy didn’t even realize we had lost the flag and got screamed at for it. Even though it was probably everyone’s fault for not dropping the efc to begin with. Lol
Needless to say, the group instantly fell apart at that point because this dude thought the best time to critique the match was while it was still in progress…
