RBG are a joke as Alliance. What to do?

I posted a similar thread on GD, but didn't get any suggested solutions. What can be done? I'm lucky to have briefly had a 1500 cr. Horde just dominates. People leave in the middle of the match.

@OP

Basically the only way you are going to make it in RBGs if you are jsut starting out is watch some streams like mattyxotv (dh main) and maybe some skill capped guides and lead your own groups.

You are probably playing with people who don't voice, voice comms in RBGs is a must, there is too much happening to not use voice.
This is strait up wrong...Ive only done yolo rbs all expac and make groups requiring challenger. We'd get in and be 1800 mmr like whatf and it be super easy. 1500 right now is the new 1300 in every bracket.

Challenger is super easy to get, I Yolo'd there in less than a week with NP, however after that I had a horrible streak and went like 3-16 one week and called it ever since. I'm sure Horde has better less stressful groups though, It's kinda hit or miss from my experience with Alliance - In example I myself get alot of groups who play dumb, meaning they won't guard the flag with their life and keep people off from capping it, they'll leave towers un-defended, etc.

You can get challenger in bgs now ?? oh shiz i have to find a new achieve then, showing they have played arena
You can get all ranks in RBG's now, (Combatant, Challenger, Rival, etc) along with the RBG Achieves associated with them
Except Glad. Only 3s for that.
Rbgs on alliance are like pulling teeth. I rerolled horde and it's a lot better. There's nothing more tilting to me than people who don't listen to my game winning calls and then lose it for the team.

If you want to keep running alliance rbgs, you'll have to make your own groups and btag anyone who seems competent. After a while, you should have a stable of what you hope will be good players and make your rbgs then.

It took me 5 hard weeks to get 1703 cr on alliance, by making my own groups. On my horde reroll, 1-2 weeks in I'm 1723 cr. Granted I didn't know what I was doing at first and I was making mistakes and learning. I've since transferred all my knowledge to horde.

My btag list on horde after just 1.5 weeks of reroll now consists of 1800+ and 2400+ gladiator types. I'm very happy to have hit 1723 cr on this char and I'm waiting for tuesday reset to continue the cr push.

You can also consider watching some streamers on twitch. For alliance I watch flarknesstv and for horde you can try following mine junsonmingchan. There's also others I think on horde but I don't know them, yet.

Good luck.

That's yolos both factions. I had a pretty bad winrate on my Horde as well.
Again if you are looking to actually take things serious, yolos will not cut it. Too much happening in a 10v10 to not be in voice
Make your own grp, and set the requirements.

Sadily enough, more people play horde in PvP and PvE. I made the switch coming into BFA and have enjoyed it but not on my Druid because I can’t be a NELF. Kind of unfortunate, I think they are trying to balance it by adding in good racials for alli, however I don’t think it’s going to sway the whole PvP community

Also, you are a demon hunter so just make sure you know how to kite and communicate with healers and defensive dps/all the strats. I.e. running to gy at low stacks to regroup with team that is getting wiped. Making your own group is great, the community thing is sick. I’m not sure if your xp, but don’t queue with the yolo/no voice teams because you’ll never get anywhere with those teams and are a waste of time if you want to get cr (generally speaking) just find some people who actually do bg’s consistently and if you are good and you like them/they like you they’ll probably invite you back. Also, like I said dh’s are a necessity in RBGS. With tanking and being able to peel back to assist with flags, off cart teams and general dmg output! Gl!
