Razsageth LFR

Not with Razsageth, as the majority of deaths happen before Determination stacks, because of the blowback.

Wait really? Even after all the P1 outrage? Thats crazy I just assumed, but I guess people finally learned by the end of s1

Most of the people dying are probably people who are just AFK for free loot. Those who are actually trying to complete the encounter should be alive long enough to get a Determination stack. When I did it in a pug on day 1 of Season 4, we had 3 Determination stacks when we got it down.

If too many people are doing that, you aren’t getting any bosses down and therefore no loot. And if you notice the same people immediately dying, you can kick after a wipe or after a kill.

LFR Raz isn’t really a “group” fight.
If everyone knows how to do it, total strangers can 1-shot it, like I just did earlier this week.
You don’t need much coordination (just split correctly, gtfo when swirled) on any of mechanics to succeed.
If you just do your part, this boss falls over.

I can’t see LFR fights with actual team coordination needs working out though.

Yeah no. LFR bosses should not be target dummies.

I haven’t done it in a bit (for. Obvious reasons) but I generally remember a wipe or two from Broodkeeper, to the point I had to end up tanking it because we just had a spat of tanks who refused to do the mechanics

Mind the one time I went in to give it another shot (i hunger for the LFR tint of the warrior armor) it went right to Razs

Naw. Each time there were two people that basically took lead and explained the fight down to each phase. Ran it tonight on an alt and was a cluster until someone stepped up and directed people.

Most of the people in the lfr are there for the first time, even in S4. Yelling and dropping helps no one. The only reason I am in there is for the bullion. Otherwise I wouldnt be bothering with raids.

Raz is always a cluster even after explaining the whats and whens.

My run this week, the other tank was completely ignoring any callouts, taunts, etc. They’d die during first blow off phase each pull, no matter how many times I hit the RW for “STAND IN PUDDLES”. After 5 pulls, they rage quit.

That’s why I said, LFR rng happened in LFR to your killing it twice on first pulls comment lol. Sark is a first kill every time. Raz on the other hand… talk about rolling the dice.

If not the pushback it’ll be something else. The problem isnt the mechanics. The problem is lazy, ill-prepared people who just want everyone else to carry them.

The ones who have never done Razsageth LFR are the ones saying it’s fine.

And I know you haven’t done it because of what you’re saying happens. Lol.

Keep in mind, I have zero intention of running LFR this season. However, even I know it’s not an okay fight.

It’s not that bad. Our group had a few wipes and downed it on the fourth attempt. There’s been far worse lfr determination stack building bosses before. Id say raz doesn’t even rank top 5.

I only do LFR. And even then, i don’t do it much. But even I managed to easily learn the fight. There is info and guides aplenty out there to explain the mechanics. It’s not actually that hard. Some people just don’t make any effort. Either wrongly assuming LFR is just so simple that they only have to hit the boss and avoid the swirlies, or they count on dying and just letting everyone else handle it.

G’Huun felt impossible with pugs.

That was the wall that I left most of my forehead on

The 463 ilvl requirement really helped here. Doing it Day 1 vs. Day 2 was very night and day.

This was our funniest wipe. Essentially spotless to the p2>p3 transition where we lose over half the raid and the rest got exploded in p3 from the tank soak. Thought we had it in the bag then boom. XD

Ditto, just having someone type out the phases and mechanics quick while flying in helps a ton. Even if people have tried to research or even done it before they might still be flying by the skin of their teeth.

The funny part of course is when the raid lead gets killed in p1 cause they were typing a /rw about puddles lol.

The trick to Razzageth LFR is to join the raid when they already have 7 stacks of determination and early losses are negligible.

That was me with fyrakk got the mount skin on my first LFR attempt and I’m not after the legendary so I don’t even have to do him anymore

“Run orbs in phase 1? But my LFR parses!!!”

Like honestly, G’huun should’ve been “run orbs to activate beam or kill a certain number of big adds to begin phase 2”. Obviously running orbs is better since it clears the crap on the ground but the fact that they did not future proof the encounter pisses me off. At the very least for LFR and maybe normal.

Think Raz should be as he is now. Gives us who only do LFR a challenge. Killed him 2 times this week already. 2 tries on 1 toon today with 5 people dead already in phase 1. We still killed him on 2nd try.
Not that hard as long as you bother to learn the mechanics.
