Razer naga trinity macro problem

for some reason the shift modifier for holy fire isn’tw orking :"(
i’m using razer naga trinity mouse button #1 for the keybind

it works fine if i use a keyboard keybind

As in left click, or one of the thumb buttons? If it’s a thumb button what key is it bound to?

For modifiers in general:

On the side of mouse there are 1-12

it works with regular keyboard binds, but i figured something else that’ll work so it wont matter, ty though!!

Ya, I too have a Naga. Those buttons are mapped to keyboard keys; by default they’re the numbers on your numpad. Which, when hitting shift, mostly produce entirely different hardware events in Windows.

well that sucks!! how to fix it? I don’t really need it anymore cuz i decided to go with keyboard keybind, but it couldn’t hurt to know for the future, ty again!!

You need do one of the following:

  • map them to different keys on your keyboard (possibly F-keys, but beware of certain combinations like alt-f4)
  • only use the numkeys that don’t produce different hardware events when combined with shift: 5 / * - +
  • don’t use the shift modifier with them.
