Razagath isn't any fun

It’s a fight that throws out far too many phases an mechanics that the whole thing just becomes un-fun very quickly.

I’ve really come to despise this design philosophy of throwing as many complex mechanics at the players as they can at once. It’s made virtually every boss fight an unfun slog with raz being the worst offender this patch.

any… they are ALL unfun

What mechanics do they add in normal and heroic?

LFR is a struggle because people are people. But the fight seems ok to me.

It’s a super fun fight actually.

Im currently progging on M Razzy G, gotta say im starting to hate this boss lol.

Its expected to be a 14ish minute fight, and if u miss one kick, basically a wipe. If 3 people die and get rezzed before p3 (11 minutes in btw) basically a wipe.

I thought blizz would learn from sylvanas lol.

I prefer it to fights like council. people still get frozen, still! LFR obviously.

100% agree its probably one of the best end boss fights in a while

Speak for yourself… I enjoy it. She also gave my hunter a sweet bow.

I like the fight, it has it’s moments where it can be frustrating (curse my pinky toe for being in breath lol), but I do enjoy it. Got norm raz down with my guild and now we are working towards heroic raz, and since I also run lfr because i still need the bow :weary: , I will say I feel lfr is more of a pain then norm, and probably more of a pain then heroic only because it’s lfr which generally means way more issues (people not knowing the fights, not looking them up, not listening, not doing what they should, dying on purpose so they don’t have to heal/dps, the list goes on lol)

Any fight where you can use heroism twice is just a tedious slog in my book.

Idk. Compared to heroic sylvanas it’s a masterpiece, so I’ll take it.

How is a 3 phase fight with extremely basic intermissions too much? That’s always been a common thing with end bosses.
I also don’t think that the mechanics are complex. Most of them are quite simple. Dodge the dragon. Run out with debuff. Outrun the knockback. Stack at one of two marks. The fight is just a sequence of common mechanics and the only big difficulty is not losing people to standing in deadly AoE that leaves a lot of time to dodge.
I think it’s one of the more enjoyable and straight forward end bosses we’ve had in a long time without dumb RNG or special class requirements. The mechanics also harmonize very well to another.

What do you mean? The fight has no unskippable RP parts and our first kill was in under 10 minutes. At Sylvanas I felt every passing minute because a lot of the time there wasn’t even a real fight going on. Just waiting and running around.

Rasz is a fun boss. People really just need to improve their mechanical awareness.

Razageth is a really unfun fight to wipe on. Its a really cool fight, its visually stimulating and the dance makes sense mostly. I will say playing priest biases me a bit since they very very clearly made razageth with evokers and mobile classes in mind. Those p2/p3 slow circles were made for a game where everyone has movement options and its kinda weird having to move out of the group for a mechanic that hasn’t come out yet because if it comes out on me while i’m in the group I can’t get out because my class doesn’t have the skills to do so outside of my void elf racial.

I like the fight but hate wiping on it, kinda like sylvanas. If every heroic sylvanas farm attempt was a one shot I would have liked that fight, but wiping after close to 10 minutes because of something that happened in the first half of the pull sucks. Reprog on raz at the very least isn’t as bad as sylvanas because p3 is a victory lap instead of the real part of the fight coming in at 10 minutes.

It’s better than the last two final bosses we got :dracthyr_shrug:

So much this. Some people don’t pay attention and get killed by dragon drive-by, despite it being announced several seconds before through tons of crackling swirlies. And then they complain that the boss is too hard and that it’s Blizzard fault they didn’t kill it yet.

The core mechanics are rather fun. I dont mind it and for me, its easy to get the loop engrained into muscle memory. Whats not fun is that its hard for a lot of people which makes doing it, unbearable

Your group killed mythic raszageth in under 10 minutes? Sheesh bunch of gamers.

Even on warcraft logs the fastest kill is 12:30
