I vendored this weeks Raw Singing Citrine thinking it was a gem, might be a great idea to make them where you cannot vendor them or destroy them. Oh and put them on the item restore service so we can get any vendored Raw Singing Citrine back.

Completely second this – I have done this questline EVERY week since launch of Siren Isle and didn’t realize the raw singing citrine was supposed to be used to level up my ring. I just read it’s BiS for Paladins for 11.1 and then realized my ilvl on it was still the lowest level (e.g., I sold ALL the citrines because it didn’t signify that it’s CRUCIAL to update the ring). Seems like something that should be auto restored and cannot be dropped/sold…
Not sure if there’s a restriction on the number of Raw Citrines you can see on a character, but I got a number of mine on my alts by doing the boss events or opening random treasure chests. I didn’t have to complete the quest chain on any of my alts to max my rings. Could try farming a bit and see if you get lucky in the shorter term, before Blizzard addresses this.
