Did you know you could use this on the vendor who sells it to you?

Just found this out… by accident.

EDIT: It was on the last level before the boss.

The anima power I got? 400 more anima.

Its a very good lesson on the hubris of selling destructive items to those who covet the same thing you do. One who sells anything to gain profit will eventually become someone elses profit.

don’t use it in twisting corridors - the vendor doesn’t respawn so if you cannibalise him

Seems like that’s always what I get from it when I nuke the vendor too.

Same thing if you use it during a normal run. The vendor will not respawn in the Adamant vaults

Is that a recent change? I’m fairly certain it’s a different vendor in the Vaults, and the Anima Cell has no effect on it spawning. Or, at least it didn’t use to. I know I typically nuked the vendor on my runs for the Vaults, and I can’t say I’ve ever not seen the vendor in there. But I haven’t run Torghast in months at this point.

Same here, found out by accident. Last vendor before boss and I hadn’t spent my remaining phantasma

No, it has always been that way.

But I guess there are 2 vendors…so if you only kill 1 you have a 50/50 shot of the other being in the vaults.

I would post a link…but I recently lost my trust level.
