I for one love pet battles and kinda sad there weren’t more in this event.
the 7th orb was pretty challenging but doable with alot of time and patience.
I’m right now stuck on the 8th orb, what should be pretty simple (just counting rats) plus I’m using weak auras with a special script that tells me how many rats killed and how many statues on each lock which matches the wowhead chart and matches all my manual counts but yet I always get zapped on the 3rd lock, I swear it must be bugged for me.
For those who are just following the guide, the only truly difficult step is 6 o’clock, with the altars.
Blood, Lust, and Void are easy. But Sin requires the Venthyr covenant, and Corrupt only accepts mounts that are mostly no longer obtainable (WTF), and a back piece that is hard to get.
Yeah this one is gonna make people real mad later when there is nobody else doing this. I just happened to sponge off of others thanks to there being so many. Can’t imagine doing it alone.
Those weren’t the problem. The problem was the steps requiring addons or third party websites to calculate puzzles.
“you could’ve used pen and paper” nobody used pen and paper to solve this crap.

By the way, do you know if they managed to solve the last three secrets after obtaining the bike?
I didn’t see any news about it.
The orb is blacked out and they managed to get a line that says Tata for now so it’s assumed that the secret has currently ended after getting the bike. Prolly future content or sth for the remaining 3 orbs

Are you talking about the altars where you need certain mounts, pets or xmogs? That wasn’t so bad and I was able to do it by myself. Given I’ve been playing wow since it came out so had what was needed. Though I do see your point for someone fresh trying that part. What I want to know is orb 10 - 12th? Has that been solved or was that a red herring?
It wasn’t easy, no. but if everything was easy it wouldn’t be fun to play.
I finished and got the mount a couple of days ago. Thanks to everyone who made videos.
Without those I never would have made it.
I still got frustrated & quit for a few days here & there, but I’m stubborn.
Sometimes you have to work for things, can’t always have them given to you.

I just did the orb 7 puzzle and let me tell you. Big respect to the pioneers that figured out even getting to the puzzle, let alone solving it then programming an addon so a zugzug like me can get it done.

The actual solution ended up being based on a bunch of fan theories that never amounted to anything in Legion. It was awesome to see Blizzard go back and kinda retroactively implement them, felt like they were really in tune with the community on that one.

You just need to stand near the alters when someone else does it and you get credit. The only one I had to do myself was the succubus one.
The same for that alter in orb 2. Which I also didn’t do myself.

The orbs are “lit” but void
An unlit orb would imply that there is more stuff to do, but the orbs being void implies that the puzzle is either over (the clock is filled) or is in a sort of “negative 1 state” where something will unlight it before it can be lit properly (eg waiting for D.R.I.V.E to release or for Midnight)
This and the Eye of Nzoth one which are both collections based. Needing to grab all of these yourself instead of having others help will be time consuming and expensive.
I don’t think these are actually available yet. I suppose that’ll come later? People are guessing that these are for additional perks to your motorcycle (flying? drifting?)
I actually really enjoy this kind of thing I relished getting Taivan I love the puzzles and challenges but this quest chain is frustrating for people who have not been avid collectors and completionists
I am doing the Vault of the Warden’s puzzle atm and it’s bit of challenge if you don’t have that addon
