Ratt's Revenge 8 O'Clock - Rats (Not completing)

So at this point I’ve attempted the 8 O’clock puzzle about 6 times, and every single time I get zapped on the third lock. I am using a macro to target catacomb rats and another to target regular rats. I’m using the WA to count the rats plus I’m counting them manually. I just did it again and followed these exact steps.

  1. Reset and zone in
  2. Click begin on enigma machine
  3. Click submit
  4. Click begin
  5. Used macro and killed catacomb rats
  6. Used macro + WA. Manually counted rats as well as I killed them.
  7. 9 rats - 2 statues on plate 2
  8. Submit - receive magnifier
  9. Remove statues from plate.
  10. Click begin. incorrect, do not hit begin
  11. Used macro / WA / manual counting as I kill rats
  12. 4 rats - 2 statues on plate 1
  13. Submit - receive magnifier
  14. Remove statues from plate
  15. Click begin. incorrect, do not hit begin
  16. Used macro / WA / manual counting as I kill rats
  17. 5 rats - 3 statues on plate 1
  18. run back through the entire instance spamming rat macro. there are no more rats.
  19. Click submit.
  20. FAIL

I don’t know what else to do at this point. A couple of my first tries definitely had rats I hadn’t found, but the last few were definitely correct. I’m using the chart on wowhead + the WA to know how many statues go on each plate, and these 2 sources have been in agreement every time.

Catacombs rats can step on plates causing you to fail.

I figured it out! Two posts I saw yesterday said to click BEGIN after each lock. That is not correct. It worked after I saw a post about not doing. Jeez.
