Hi, I’m pretty new to the Mythic+ dungeons, and I’m just trying to get the KSM achievement for the mount. At a certain point, are +8 or higher Mythics required? I’ve only been doing +6 and +7s since I can’t get into any +8s, and I’m less than 100 away from 2000. Is there a big jump in rating for the +8s? Also, what ilvl is recommended for them?
Iirc wowhead wrote that you either must time all on m7 or overtime on m8 (ofc not by much, the higher the overtime, the lower the score it gives).
But you dont have to insist on this combination, you can time easier dungeons on higher and harder dungeons on lower as you naturally would.
Doing your own key can help to progress much faster, because at least you get a m8 if you time your own m7 and so on.
The ilvl part is tricky, it depends on the player all too much + ilvl can be deceptive sometimes (especially in case of rings, necks and trinkets, tier vs non-tier items).
Around 610+ would be nice I guess as that comes rather easily from delves.
Actually even the group comp matters a lot and can override ilvl.
Like imagine Ara’kara last boss with 3 melee vs 2 range 1 melee or really any dungeon without bloodlust (or equivalent) and combat ress.
