Rating system in M+

There needs to be some type of rating system when it comes to Mythic plus. Make it so once the key is over you can rate each person in your group. 1-5 stars. As well as something to keep track if you leave a key early … some type of %. Also a small spot to write a review after.

With how easy it is to obtain gear and IO… its harder to search of skilled players… I think this would be an amazing thing to have. It would work well for people who do low keys as well

All healers and tanks would run around with 1 star rating then.

You cannot give others the chance to ruin your game permanently. Everyone is paying, everyone deserves to be part of the game, even if they’re bad.

What we need, is elitists to notch themselves down.

Yes this would be heavily abused by trolls.

FFXIV commendation system I would like to see an iteration of in WoW though.

That system already exists, and it’s called making friends and not playing with random strangers.

I could imagine how all the ones screaming healer!!? After dieing to avoidable damage would rate me.

Healer, and professional keystone assassin here. I’m pretty sure I’ve been directly at fault for at least 10 keys failing. (Probably more. That’s just this season.) And have been part of even more groups where other people were part of the reason the key failed.

Besides, tanks and healers can’t exactly practice outside of live situations.

This is a reason I’m selective and very picky with pugs. I mention interrupts at the start of the dungeon and if halfway through interrupts look terrible/I’m taking a lot of damage then I threaten to end the key.

It would be nice if blizz gives someone the title professional keystone assassin after 10 failed keys.

no

“bricker of keys”

a long requested title amongst my friend group

Usually it’s the opposite. In Overwatch, there’s a system where you can honor people after a match and almost universally it’s the Tanks/Healers getting commendations to the point where I’ve literally never seen a DPS only player hit 5 stars (the max level).

i can only imagine what would happen if people rated me

i heal +7-8 nelths in batches of like 3-4 per day. for every 8 or so runs that go great and im proclaimed a god amongst healers (we had the chains boss bug and we didnt die, you’d think i was the 2nd coming of christ even though it didnt particularly hurt that bad), there’s the one run where i witness tomfoolery of the highest caliber that i cant salvage

would also suck if my ratings as a mediocre disc carried over to my dps rating

You have a battlenet friend request

You don’t get spammed these after tanking pug keys?

Gives the OP a one star rating

Definitely 1 star bait.

yeah, but in overwatch, people don’t bail once they decide to pull like it’s MDI and they are wearing perfect gear and have multiple world championships under their belt.
and then get mad when their ego gets checked and they get oneshot “must be the healers/dps fault” and they leave key.

From what I’ve seen, a lot of players are like “yea I could do that if only I had a better group, my team sucks!”, but in reality if someone is hard stuck at a certain IO for an extended period while really trying to push rating it’s usually the rating they belong at. I’ve ran w/ a lot of like 2500-3k players late season who swear up and down they just need a chance and legit every 1 of them sucked.

Logs do this without bias.

There’s target dummies in the pvp vendor room to heal, as well as DPS ones right next to do it practice doing both at the same time.

Last season was horrific. Lots of 3k players didn’t use defensives or even bother using healing pots.

That’s not going to work for actual scenarios. It’s more of “can you push buttons?”
