why play shuffle that has artifically capped mmr to slow down cr gains, when you can queue blitz, be 2600 mmr at 1800 cr (proof: imgur .com/a/oVBpstm) and just flip a coin with a 50/50 winrate to get free 2400+? not to mention it’s like 30% of the effort of shuffle to actually play

i was zero rating yesterday and sat in que for 35min for bg blitz. Thats a hard pass for me for that dumpster fire of a game mode

dude who cares blitz is a “MEME BRACKET” and rating earned there “DOESNT COUNT” according to these forums anyway. of course the tragic truth is the arena forums are a meme and everyone knows this place is a meme and a joke. so much so there hasnt been a dev or blue post here in over a year or so

Solo shuffle “didn’t count” before blitz came out. There is just a group of elitests who IMO should be playing Cata Classic for their rating to “Matter”
As a lifetime rival player I might have to check this out

Spec balance is so dumpster fire right now, no I can’t get free rating. I am deadweight in any blitz I enter. Prevokers and afflocks get to dance circles around me and I’m working harder than ever to break 1k.
In the world of Arena being dominated by cleaves/RMP for the last 15 years; being high rated in Blitz is unironically harder and more prestigious than high rated in Shuff/3’s deathmatch zug.
There are already A LOT of arena andys who are getting hard outplayed and embarrased in Blitz at 1600 because they can’t fathom objective based gameplay. They usually sit in a teamfight all game, lose and then pat themselves on the back for good mental for not raging in chat. I’ve had 2 Glad Rogues in 2 seperate WSG’s sitting mid teamfighting this week at 1500.
I could boost any healer right now and play 1k MMR placement games with Glad mount arena players who don’t know how BG’s work, don’t know how scoring works and don’t know how to play for objectives rather than kills.
