how quickly do you guys generally reach 1800, 2100 and 2400 at the beginning of a new season both in SS and rated 3s. Player since bc but only really pvp since DF. still learning a lot
i normally push 2100 in the first week or so and im a “casual” player at least according to these forums /shrug
and if MMR is inflated enough i can push 24hundo the last week or so of the season which is considered “casual” or “below average” rating anyway so yeah ggs man you do you and all that jazz
idc id rather have zero glad titles than be known and as a BFA glad or s2 slands glad ig idk man but you do you and all that jazz glhf enjoy the xpac /shrug
I wont be able to do it this time, I’m super casual and wont PvP enough to get gud. To give you an idea though I pushed to around 2100 (can’t remember if I was over or under a bit) in the second/third week in DF S1 and I was ranked within the top 200 Rets N/A, think I was in the general area of 150ish on the ladder.
Top in N/A (think it was Vanguards) was 2400ish at the time, not sure if they made changes to inflation though.
the reason i ask is because i want to get all my elite sets for my warband in the first 2-3 weeks and then smash m+ . Just a solo shuffle andy 2200 on a few classes so i assume that’s a reasonable goal
bro trust if youre are at least average or above youll get all the elite sets you can ever want. im a “below average” pvper and ive been elite a few times
All your warband? Like 4 toons? It will depend on personal ability and how many people do solo, Q times etc. No matter how good you are Q times will slow your progress the further up the ladder you go the Qs get longer, at least they did for me. The very top players sit in exceeding long Q at times.
If a ton of people jump in you might be able to do it by hitting top 500 or so for each of your specs in the first 3 weeks, if not you might have to be top 200. You will likely sit in Qs for a long time. Even if you gain 20 rating per win once you hit 1600 or so and win every game, depending on Qs your looking at 20 hours per toon? Wouldn’t be surprised with a 70% win rate after 1600 it takes 30-40 hours per toon depending on Qs.
Assuming you lose/gain 20 rating per match at 70% win rate that’s 80 rating per 10 games, 30 minutes for Q/playtime is 5 hours for 80 rating. Tha’s like 30 hours to go from 1600 to 2100. At 15 rating per win/loss thats 40 hours? Add Q times in the 20-30 minute range and you could be 40-50 hours per toon with a 70% win rate over 1600 rating.
If you are playing at 1900-2000 in the first week depending on spec I feel like the Qs will be long, mine were hitting 30-45 minutes S1 when I was pushing sometimes an hour or more. 10 hours to gain 30-40 rating isn’t out of the question depending on win rate.
