I simply LOVE that look. I think a better OH exists, but aside from that I’d give it a solid 10/10.
As for me… WARHAMMER 40K! Trying for an “Inquisitor” look. I had swapped to Light’s Wrath (book on a stick), but I’m not sure it’ll show up on here in time. Judge me either way! <3
Okay - for 40k inquistor - I would say you’re off the mark by a wide margin… There are a distinct lack of skulls - to me - its closer to an Ecclesiarch… but on that front also lacking purity seals number wise… ( two on the shoulder seems light).
Independent of that stated goal - its okay mog - I don’t think the shoulder match the overall vibe - the belt and chest plate metal seems slightly off color from one another - but I’d give it a 6 or 7 out of 10.
Not too bad for an over stuffed Teddy bear. Simplistic in its overall feel. Something I’d expect for a Shaman of the Pandaren teachings… 10/10. Don’t think it would look as good on me though.
So I dusted off this guy from my past. He was my very first Tauren way back in year 3-4. Kind of surprised I still have him. Gave him a much needed update with the new-ish character customization options. He was a higher level before the level squish I promise…
Thank you. I am open to ideas if you know any better options…
It’s simple, but it works. I think mogs like this is a reminder that as cool as all the crazy cartoony gear can be, sometimes what works is less. Shaman, depending on culture, can definitely wear lots of elaborate clothing and accessories but many don’t. I’d give it an 8/10. I think the 10/10 could have been attained with a different weapon but it’s not like yours is a bad choice.
I don’t think there’s any wrong weapon choice per-se, regarding specifics. If your shaman were mine, I would probably go for something that has a lot of wood or wrought-iron aspects, kind of rugged, particularly seen in axes. But that’s just my perception of Tauren aesthetics and my shaman for instance (a Dark Iron Dwarf) has one gearset that very much fits the fire-shaman image but its elemental gear looks more like something a Draenei or Orc would wear.
Well, you’re wearing a set minus the shoulders. It looks fine but that’s because Blizzard did most the work. The weapons are low res and look like toothpicks in your hands.
Lacks a bit of pizazz but that’s almost a virtue in and of itself. The colours all contrast or blend nicely where appropriate and you’re not hanging a big neon sign over your head that says “I twirl my mustache when I kick the puppies”.
Not going to lie, it’s not a good look. Bow doesn’t match, and it looks like two different sets did the Fusion dance, and botched it. That said, it’s not really your fault. White/gold sets in mail are a pain to find matching pieces for, and it can be a real hassle.
